The exile and Acorns help

"That’s enough! Ice heart, Amber claw. I shall host a meeting to let everyone know that you two are exiled.” Spotted star said with anger in her voice. Me and Amber claw stood in silence. We didn't know what to do at that moment. Spotted star leaped up onto the rock and then called. “All cats old enough to catch their own prey please gather beneath the high rock for a clan meeting.” She said while looking at me and Amber claw angrily. “I call this meeting to inform you all that, two of our warriors are being exiled.” She said while looking at me and Amber claw. “Ice heart, Amber claw. You two are exiled from Thunder clan and shall never show up on our territory again.” 

She announced with a stern voice. The cats in the crowd started growling at us. We quickly ran away from the meeting and exited the clan camp. Me and Amber claw looked at each other with sadness in our eyes. We heard footsteps behind us, and we quickly turned around to see Rain paw following us. “Ice heart, Amber claw, please don't leave!” Cried Rainpaw. “Im sorry Rain paw, we don't have a choice.” I said while giving him a lick on the head. He glanced back up at me with sadness filling his eyes. We walked off leaving Rain paw there. We headed towards the barn where Acorn  lived. We then found the barn and saw Acorn sitting near the entrance. “Hello Ice heart and Amber claw! What are you two doing here?” He asked politely. “We came to ask you if we could stay here?”Amber claw asked. “Well, don't you two live in Thunder clan?” He asked with a concerned face. “We got framed for killing two kits in our clan. We ended up getting exiled.” I said to him while looking at the hard ground, ashamed of myself. I know it wasn't our fault for getting exiled, but I just still didn't feel right. “Oh my!” He gasped. “Please come in.” He said while inviting us into the barn. We all sat down by a large pile of hay, and then Acorn began to speak. “So if you don't mind me asking. Why did you both get exiled?” He said politely. Amber claw then began to speak. “No, I don't mind you asking, and to put it short, a cat from the clan got mad I had became deputy and lead me out of camp to then lead me to sunning rocks and try to murder me. Ice heart saw and then got me out of the mess, then we returned and told the leader. Then he spread a lie saying we had both killed a kit and everyone believed him so we ended up getting exiled.” She said ending her sentence, while gasping for air. He blinked slowly while looking at both of us. “Wow. I am so sorry that all of this happened to you both!” Acorn said quietly. I then replied back, “Its ok I guess, but its not your fault, no need to apologize.” 

We stared in silence for a couple of seconds when Acorn broke the silence. “Well I will go fetch some mice. You two make yourself at home.” We smiled at him, and walked off to fetch some hay and moss to make a nest. I padded over to a large patch of hay, and grabbed a mouthful. I went over to a small corner and placed the hay down. I went back a few times to fetch hay. After a while Amber claw came back with lots of moss. “Where would you like me to put this?” She asked. “Over here.” I pointed my tail over to where the hay was, and she walked over, and gently placed the hay down. She placed her paws on top of the moss, and squished the moss into the hay. A couple minutes later Acorn came back with two mice. 

He placed them down in between us, and we began to eat the mice. After we finished eating I went to take a nap after this very long, and stressful day. I curled up and wrapped my tail around myself. Amber claw came soon after and gave my ear a lick. She curled up next to me and we both fell asleep. We woke up soon after to hear Acorn waking us up. I felt a cold breeze on my fur. We slowly woke up, and we both got up. “Look outside the barn!” Acorn said excitedly. We both looked outside. The ground was covered in a white layer of powder. I stepped outside, and my paws sunk into the powder. It was very cold. I've seen this stuff  before in leaf-bare. I quickly got back into the barn, and Amber claw wiped the powder off of my paws. “Haha thank you Amber claw.” I said while smiling at her. She smiled back. We both went back over to our nest and fell back asleep. She curled up closer to me than before. Soon it was Sunhigh. I stretched and yawned as I realized that Amber claw was not in the nest. I got up and started to look for her. After a few minutes, I finally found her. She was looking around the barn and sniffing everything.

 “Hello Amber claw!” I greeted her. “Oh hey Ice heart!” She said as she leaped down from the area she was at. Her tail was up high. “Wanna go outside?” She asked as she looked outside the barn door. Acorn was hunting for mice in a small corner. “Yeah sure!” We raced outside and we immediately forgot that there was snow. Our paws were freezing and covered with snow. We laughed and then I began to speak “Maybe barn life isn't so bad after all.” I glanced at her and she smiled. “Maybe you're right. In clan life we always had to worry about being attacked, and I always had to worry about Viper fang.” She put her head low as she said Viper fang's name. I went closer to her and sat down. I licked her ear comfortingly. “We are ok now.” I said in a soft tone and leaned my head on her pelt.  She sat down to, and she leaned her head on mine. I started to pur but we then got interrupted by Acorn. “Hey Ice heart, and Amber claw! I caught some mice. If you want one they are in a pile in the barn.” “Thank you. We will be there in a minute.” Amberclaw replied softly. “Alright come in soon so you don't freeze to death” Acorn replied jokingly. I looked back at Amber claw, and she looked at me as well. We looked at each other for a moment before we began to walk in, side by side and we both picked up a mouse. “Thank you, again Acorn for letting us stay here.” Amberclaw said between bites of her mouse. “It's no problem guys!” He smiled as he finished his mouse.
