Prologue: Part One

Bingqiu

The peak seemed way too quiet to Shen Qingqiu. He would usually be sighing with boredom, trapped in a cliche over sized sack that always appears when taking hostages in movies, before his Bing-mei would save him. However, he is in his bamboo hut, sipping tea that was prepared by the half-demon pup. Luo Binge had some business to do in the demon realm for the day, so that also adds to the quietness.

Suddenly, there was a curt knock at the door and the peace was disrupted, to the peak lord's dismay. He stands up to open the door, but falls down to his knees when the door slams open.

Poison? I knew the peace wouldn't last, he thinks, a sigh slipping from his lips as he is shoved in the bag. It isn't deadly, but I can't move these legs!

The small demons carried Shen Yuan for who knows how long, until they finally paused their steps. Shen could hear the idiots bickering, not much he wanted to listen to, until something caught his attention.

"Is this the place we will be dumping him? It only looks like one of those troublesome rifts that the devient tyrants' second in command makes to travel ...."

"Oh, buddy! You must have not heard the rumors, hehehe... this specific rift travels to other worlds!"

Other worlds? This could actually be quite a problem...but as soon as he heard those thoughts, a familiar feeling came over him. Took you long enough! What do you think would happen if this Shizun left this world? What would happen to you!?

Sounds of slaughter and wails were heard before Luo Binge finally opened the bag, letting him free. I can breathe!

"Shizun! Are you okay? Any scratches or bruises!?" Even though he asked, he still took his arm and searched. He looked like he was about to cry, so Shen Yuan decided to reach up and pat his head in comfort. Just as he was about to speak, he was shoved into binge by a demon that Luo Binghe somehow missed. The taller one was caught off guard and, like dominoes, they both tumbled down.

Into the dark rift. Into Another World.
