Hualian

Xie Lian was chatting with his husband, when our chengzu suddenly had to leave due to some "pests" causing a ruckus. When he returned, with a not so real smile, he was not alone.

"Everything okay, San Lang?" A smiling Xie Lian asked, his fine brows slightly furrowed at the sight.

Hua Cheng's butterflies were dragging four teens behind him, each one having a different expression of fear, irritation, worry, and contemplation.

"Well, we have a few....Guests who barged into ghost city and caused a ruckus," he turns to face the token four, not bothering to smile anymore.

"....I feel like you should probably let them go first, San Lang? Then we can ask some questions." He bargains, feeling slightly bad for the poor kids. Hua Cheng nods, a knowing smile on his lips.

The kids have been in a moment of shock ever since they were caught, but were snapped out of it when they fell to the ground with a thud.

"Ow...couldn't you have let us down a little easier?!" The one in yellow yelps.

"Don't be like that Jin Ling....at least we were let down in the first place?" One of the boys in white reasoned.

"Yeah, princess, stop whining!" The other in white retorted, sticking his tongue out.

"Can you two ever get along?!" The last one puzzled, one hand rubbing his behind on a sore spot from when he fell.

"So your name is Jin Ling? I am Xie Lian. Can you tell me what you have entered Ghost City for?" Xie Lian questioned.

A/N: A shorter chapter, but I feel it ends the prologue nicely. What do you think? Do you guys like long chapters where timing isn't necessary, or end each chapter with suspense?
