The way Valentine had stepped into the Great Hall, violence rolling off her in waves, let everyone knew she was not a good mood. Luckily for the dinning students, she was gone as soon as she saw her that her friends were not inside and Harry, in fact, was.

Still, on the warpath, she marched down to the dungeons, students scattering when they saw her. No one had seen her this riled up in a while, not since Umbridge at least.

How the fuck could Liam defend her like that? And telling me that he wanted it! I don't fucking believe that for a second. I saw his face, I saw him push her away. He didn't want it. He said he didn't want it and she kissed him anyway.

Why did he let her do that? Why is he insisting that what I saw was all a misunderstanding when I know what I saw? Doesn't he know that if he told one of us he'd never have to worry about her again? All he has to do is say the word and she'd be done for.

What the hell has she done to him that I haven't seen? They've spent so much time together as of late that it could be anything. I know better than anyone that Liam is susceptible to domineering forces but would he really allow it to go that far?

The revelation that hit her almost physically hurt. If Jane Philips was pushing him around and treating him like property, how was that any different to how she treated Liam herself? It wasn't. Of course, she knew her motives were good. She wanted to save people, but that didn't change any of the damage she'd caused. It was odd to think of herself as the lesser of two evils in any situation. Would she torment and manipulate Liam? She had and she would. But would she force herself on him like that? Just the thought made her sick to her stomach.

What if Liam thinks being treated like that is normal? He only knows me as a dangerous, sadistic figure and yet he still managed to form romantic feelings for me of all people. Is it really that much of a stretch for him I find someone else who he thought might treat him similarly?

No.

No, that's ridiculous. I saw his face. He didn't want it. He pushed her away and she hit him for it. Maybe he was looking for what he couldn't get from me in the beginning, but I'd never believe that it's still something he really wants.

Liam's even gathered the gall to stand up to me in the past. Surely Philips doesn't frighten him more then I do? She must be threatening him, holding something over his head. What does she even gain out of this? Is there some sick pleasure she derives from this? Andonvo seemed to have enjoyed himself too for as long as I'd let him. Fucking disgusting.

When Valentine burst into the Slytherin common room, the entire atmosphere changed from causal to tense and serious.

"Val?" Leah shot up from the couch by the fire, eyeing her with concern and caution. "What's wrong?"

"I'm going to murder Philips." Valentine growled.

"What?" Leah's brow knitted together in confusion. "Why? What'd she do?"

"She's revolting." Valentine spat. "I just saw her with Liam-"

"Val?" Draco called out as he and Blaze came down from the boy's dormitory.

"She said she's going to murder Philips." Said Leah hurriedly.

"What happened?" Draco immediately seemed fraught with worry.

"I saw them together. Liam and Philips. She saw forcing herself on to him." Valentine ground out, starting to pace.

"What?" Blaze blinked. "What are you talking about?"

"I saw her force her mouth on him and he pushed her way, she hit him."

"She hit him?" Draco's brows shot up.
