-Salis PoV-

"Your highness, your bath has been prepared", the servants bowed.

"Very well, you may leave", I ordered.

They left my chamber and I walked into where I would have my bath. There were my robes for after my bath placed on a pedestal near a mirror. I took of my clothes and place them down on a pedestal next to the one with my night robes then I slipped into the bath.

Many days had passed since I went into town, there were so many people. They all respected me as they should, I mean, I am the prince, the heir to the throne. In just two years I will be on the throne, and I will be ruling over this kingdom.

Then there was that peasant, what did he address himself as? Charlie? Pathetic. I couldn't believe what he had done to me. Grabbing my face like that, his hands were so rough, and covered in soot. The way he stared at me with those green eyes. The way he smelt like coal and oil. He even cut his hand, I wonder... if he's... ok. NO! Why would I care about his hand, it's stupid, he's stupid, he's just a peasant, I'm a prince.

I stepped out of the bath and dried off, I quickly tied on my black, velvet robe and laid down in my bed. Looking at the moon from the glass dome ceiling I had. I slowly closed my eyes before falling asleep.

"Salis", he moaned.

I looked around me, I was in my chamber, but there was something different, it was sunset, I was never in my chamber at sunset, I felt a weird sensation in between my legs. I looked down to see Charlie, he was kissing my inner thighs.

"You're so beautiful", he said, licking the tip.

I immediately woke up. Sweat dripping down my face, I couldn't believe the dream I just had. My breathing was heavy. I looked outside, the stars were still out, which meant it was still nightfall. I couldn't believe that I had just had a dream about that peasant, and he was making me feel good? No of course not! There's no way! I decided to go back to sleep, and if I had another dream like that, I would go down to wine cellar and have a drink, I think I definitely needed it.

For the rest of the night, I had slept a dreamless sleep, but in the morning, I couldn't stop thinking about the dream last night and how that peasant had looked at me with those eyes days before. During swordsmanship I tore my shirt, I burnt my tongue when drinking my infusion, I tripped and injured my foot when walking down the stairs. That was when I decided that I had to go see that peasant again.

"FATHER!" I yelled, walking into the throne room.

My father looked at me, "Salis, my son, what is on your mind?"

"I wish to go into town", I declared.

My father's eyes widened; my mother shot me a confused look.

"V-Very well", my father cleared his throat, "prepare the royal carriage immediately", he ordered to the servants.

Once the carriage was ready, I was taken into town, this time however they took me along a different path, I wanted to tell them to take me to where that peasant lived, but there was a different coachman this time. I wasn't happy. They took me only into the upper and middle class. Where I met different people, all of whom I had no interest in. I just wanted to see him, I don't know why, and I couldn't figure out why, it just felt right.

Then I thought of an excuse, "Coachman, take me to a forge, I need my blade sharpened".

"But your highness, your sword was carved from magic, it doesn't need to be sharpened", he replied.
