The transporting of crystal marrow to manufacture Delusions and import them for private use amongst an army in Inazuma was new knowledge to you. The handout which Dottore gave you was a perfect summary of the events taking place in Inazuma after your departure. He made it clear that everything provided to you on that paper was necessary as he was insistent on gathering knowledge about it. Supposedly the Sagonomiyan troops were fighting against the Shogun's army.
There were fewer and fewer numbers joining the Resistance, mostly due to the fear of losing their Visions as well as the fear of defying the Raiden Shogun.
"One more thing," Dottore hid the remainder of his face behind the piece of paper but peered over you and Scaramouche from above, "we've received word that Signora died there."
"What, did she get herself caught up in the fight or something," Scaramouche practically laughed it off, "that's how her arrogance is rewarded. A life full of regrets."
"'Signora?'" The name was unheard of to you.
"The eight fatui harbinger," Dottore answered your unspoken question. "The transport wasn't under Signora's care, but Scaramouche's so I have no doubt that this information is correct, however...""You think I killed her?"
"It's... a possibility."
"And what about the Tsaritsa's wish for no harbinger to fight against each other?"
"...A possibility." Dottore repeats in the exact same suspicious tone.
"Oh, come on-"Their blabbering didn't stop. You sought to drown out the sound of their petty bickering by rereading through the files you were given.
There was a considerate about of information you were almost certain should have been strictly kept between the harbingers, but you've seemed to get on Dottore's good side recently therefore sharing such information with you shouldn't have been a problem. You are attending a party under his name after all.
"..."
There was a paragraph written about Delusions which you didn't quite understand. It was used quite often in each sentence and closely fit in the same context as a Vision would. you brushed it off as a codename for Visions instead, seeing as they were prohibited in Inazuma.
"......."
Your obnoxiously loud sighs and groans weren't enough to silence the harbingers this time and the boys weren't easy to ignore.
"........"
Below the Delusions paragraph was a fact file on Signora's last spotted location and the soldiers who travelled with her to Inazuma. They supposedly set up a camp in the Yashiori - Watatsumi island region, which was close to the whereabouts of the Delusions factory itself. Surely that can't be a coincidence.
"..........." Your thoughts weren't loud enough to overpower the rather irritating parade of insults being thrown between the harbingers and frankly you had had enough. You stood from your seat, hoping that your overly exaggerative actions would bring their attention onto you but it did nothing.
"Sit back down," Scaramouche demanded, "we're not done here." Dottore only groaned at his comment, fully supporting of your decision to leave however being put in the position between two harbingers was a tricky situation to answer to - so instead he remained quiet.
"I refuse. I'll return when the two of you stop acting like children."
Scaramouche stood up to catch you by the wrist. It wasn't a strong grip, thankfully, but enough to catch your attention and make you reconsider. When you sat back down next to him, the sixth harbinger finally quietened down and Dottore refocussed you both with the clearing of his throat.
"The civil war pursues whilst our comrade's demise is completely swept under the rug. I'm not fond of how things have settled that way."
Scaramouche spoke in his infamous sarcastic tone of voice. "Aaaand attending a ballroom party in Fontaine is supposed to help?"
