THE SILENCE WAS UNBELIEVABLY loud, the way nanami's face turned from confused to shocked made you laugh inside. you contained yourself and put on a sorry face and straightened your body posture. "um... you... might be right. you could get sick if you dont change quickly." nanami mumbled, his hand in a fist covering his mouth. you nodded and played along with the act, you coughed in your elbow and hung your head low with a sorry expression. "okay, I can borrow you one of my old shirts. take yours off and cover yourself with the towel for now." you looked up at him and nodded with forced doe eyes then watched him walk away upstairs. as soon as he left your eyesight, your grin appeared back. it was a peace of sweet victory almost. it was just too easy.

you got up from the sofa and walked towards the glass slide door that led to a balcony. you slid open the door and walked out into the balcony to be welcomed by a beginning of a sunset, a hammock, chairs and a table. you took a step out into the balcony and threw the towel over your shoulder and walked towards the wooden railing.

"dayam." you said to yourself as your eyes sat on the sunset once again. it was beautiful, you couldn't take your eyes off of it. it was a hint of blue, purple, orange and red mixed all together. the different trees stood tall along the sunset's floor, making a mountain like curve. "that's fucking pretty." you smiled to yourself. you leaned your upper body over the railing with your arms crossd underneath, looking over at the bottom. the more you looked around, the more you realized there weren't many house around. there weren't any other houses at all being honest, nanami's place was all alone.

it was weird because you would think otherwise but it didn't feel lonely, it felt peaceful. you sighed through your nose then pushed back from the rail, only to remember the towel on your shoulder. "oh yeah, shit." you took the towel off then rested it on the railing before begining to remove your shirt. you lifted it over your head and sat it down on the table besides you, now covering your exposed upper body with the towel. you turned around and leaned your back against the rail while you listened to nanami's footsteps coming towards the living room. "I'm on the balcony." you smiled, leaning your head to a side. your posture straightened when nanami walked through the glass slide door and stood at the frame. he turned his head the opposite way and reached his hand out with a black shirt sitting in his hand. you chuckled at him then reached out to take the shirt before nanami turned around. "tell me when you're ready to continue." he said before he walked off.

what a gentleman you thought to yourself. you sat the towel you had over your chest on the table next to your shirt then quickly put nanami's old shirt on. it was soft like cotton and had a scent of old spice vanilla on it just like him. you couldn't get over the fact that you were wearing the shirt of your principal, your fine principal. it was like an introduction to a fiction, (breaking the fourth wall?) though you didn't mind. you smiled once more then took in a deep breath, and exhaled as a sigh. you grabbed your shirt and the towel from the table and walked out of the balcony and back to the living room where nanami sat. you gave him a comforting smile and sat down at the end of the sofa. he was writing something on your notepad, you watched him with your head leaned to a side licking your top teeth. it was pretty hard to tell what he was writing since it was tilted toward him but you just assumed it was something important and useful.

"alright... I think this will help." nanami smiled then handed you the notepad. you took it in your hands then took a look at what he wrote. 'note: try thinking positive and stay relaxed, everything and anything comes to you when you're in a state of peace.' you looked up from the notepad to look at nanami who was on his phone. you smiled, it helped, somehow. "I'll try it, thanks sir." you watched his head lift from his phone and his eyes sat on you, he smiled when he saw your face glowing. "no problem."

the atmosphere around the two of you only slowly started to get stronger as your eyes were stuck on his smile. his smile almost had you in a chokehold, his eyes were set on you as you caught his attention in the slightest way. all you could have think of at that moment was your plan, and all how you saw it, it could play out perfectly right now. you swallowed down your saliva then took in a deep breathe to compose yourself. you saw the perfect opportunity and you were going for it. you placed a hand in front of you facing towards nanami, you exhaled then trailed your eyes down to his wrist.

"...that's a nice bracelet." you grinned. your gaze from his wrist shifted back up to his eyes to see his shocked expression. "oh thank you," he smiled, it looked like something dear to him, "it's really special." you smiled then rested your head in your palm, watching him with amusement. "why's that?" he reached his hand to touch the bracket, fondling with it. "it's because my wife bought it for me as a gift, she said sh-" "wait wait wait pause," you straightened your body, your ears must have been mistaken.

"your what???"
