Jiya sat on the balcony with her three-year-old niece Ruhi on her lap. The evening air was cool and refreshing after the light drizzled that had just ended. The balcony overlooked a beautiful garden with flowers of different colours, and the birds chirped melodiously in the trees.

Jiya sat on the balcony with her three-year-old niece Ruhi, enjoying the cool evening breeze after a light drizzle. Ruhi sat on her lap, eagerly waiting for Jiya to tell her a story. Jiya decided to tell her the story of Cinderella.

"Once upon a time, there was a beautiful girl named Cinderella," Jiya began.

"Ooh, Cinderella!" Ruhi exclaimed, clapping her hands and her doe eyes sparkling in  excitement

"Yes, Cinderella. She lived with her cruel stepmother and two mean stepsisters who made her do all the chores in the house. Cinderella was very kind-hearted and never complained about her hard life."

Ruhi listened intently as Jiya continued to tell the story. She described how Cinderella was not allowed to attend the royal ball . She gasped in shock when Cinderella's stepsisters tore her dress, and her heart sank when she was locked up in the attic. Jiya smiled at her niece's cute antics as she became sad for Cinderella  and happy when she finally met her prince charming. but with the help of her fairy godmother, she was able to attend the ball and meet the handsome prince.

"Did they dance together?" Ruhi asked eagerly.

"Yes, they did. Cinderella and the prince danced together all night and fell in love. But when the clock struck midnight, Cinderella had to leave the ball and she lost her glass slipper on the way out," Jiya explained.

"What happened next?" Ruhi asked, her eyes wide with curiosity.

"Well, the prince searched the kingdom for the owner of the glass slipper. When he came to Cinderella's house, her stepsisters tried to fit into the glass slipper, but it was too small for them. Then Cinderella tried it on, and it fit perfectly! The prince knew she was the one he had been looking for, and they lived happily ever after," Jiya finished.

As the story came to an end, Ruhi turned to Jiya with a look of wonder in her eyes.  "Jiyu , will you also have prince charming?" Jiya was taken aback by the question since she never really thought about her future partner.

She glanced at her curious niece, who was eagerly waiting for an answer. After a moment of contemplation, Jiya replied, "Well, who knows? Maybe one day, I'll find my own prince charming." Her niece's face lit up with joy, and she started clapping happily.

Unbeknownst to her, the future holds not a prince charming, but a dark and dangerous devil who will become fixated on her, ensnaring her in his grasp for all eternity."

"Will I have a prince charming too, Jiya?" she asked innocently.

Jiya giggled at the little girl's question. "You will one day, but right now, you are very small for it," she replied.

Ruhi looked at her with a pout, but Jiya started tickling her, and soon they were both laughing. Their melodious laughter filled the air, and Jiya felt content and happy.

After a while, Ruhi started getting tired and yawned. Jiya brought her closer to her chest and patted her head, making her fall asleep. She chuckled seeing her niece sucking on her finger, and she removed it before kissing her forehead with love.

That's when Ruhi's mother Prisha came into the room. She silently took her daughter in her arms and looked at Jiya with admiration. "Believe me, you will be a very good mother in the future," she said.
