" kabhi Jo badal barse
Mai dekhu tumko aakhe barake
Tu lage mujhe pehli baarish ki dua "

( "Whenever the clouds pour down I see you through my eyes You seem to me like the first monsoon prayer.")

8 pm , Seoul

Jiya stood in her apartment, stretching her arms after finishing unpacking her bags. Earlier that morning, she had landed at her new destination and had taken a much-needed nap before unpacking.

Looking around her new home, she sighed in relief as she felt a sense of comfort and familiarity.

However, her stomach growled loudly, reminding her of her hunger. Glancing at her watch, she noticed that it was already 8 pm.

Without further delay, she decided to go to the nearest supermarket to buy some groceries and food items.

Jiya dressed in a white kurti with a golden border, white leggings, and a dupatta. She grabbed her purse and locked the door before heading out, feeling excited to explore her new surroundings.

The streets outside her apartment were bustling with activity. The sound of car horns and engines filled the air as vehicles rushed past each other. Meanwhile, pedestrians hurried along the sidewalks, their footsteps echoing on the pavement.

The buildings that lined the streets towered overhead, their imposing facades illuminated by streetlights and neon signs. Hoardings plastered along the streets were filled with advertisements, their bright colors and bold fonts competing for attention.

The wind carried with it the scent of the city, a mix of exhaust fumes, food stalls, and the occasional whiff of perfume. The lights of the buildings twinkled like stars in the night sky, and the cool breeze was a refreshing relief. It was evident that Seoul was a truly amazing place to visit.

Entering the supermarket, Jiya found rows of shelves stacked with a wide variety of products. The sound of carts rolling on the floor and the chatter of shoppers and employees filled the air.

She moved from one aisle to the aisle, selecting items from the shelves and placing them in her cart. From groceries and instant food to chocolate and ice cream and daily necessities, she picked everything she needed.

After paying the bill at the cashier, Jiya grabbed her bag and headed outside. As she stepped out of the supermarket, a gust of strong wind hit her, making her hair wave. Looking up at the sky, she saw dark clouds floating in the endless sky, indicating that it would rain soon. She increased her pace, hoping not to get caught in the rainfall.

However, luck was not on her side, as it started raining heavily. Jiya ran towards the nearest bus stop, which was at a distance. Standing under the shelter of the bus stop, the sound of heavy rainfall filled her ears.

The drops were falling fast and hard, creating a constant patter on the roof above. The air was thick with the fresh scent of rain, as if the world had been given a much-needed cleansing.

The rain was relentless, and it seemed like it was impossible to escape without getting soaked. Jiya decided to wait until the rain slowed down. Cars occasionally passed on the road, and the sound of their tires splashing through the puddles added to the symphony of raindrops.

Across the road, Jiya noticed three bulky and scary-looking men standing and smoking their lungs out, while laughing loudly in her direction. She quickly looked away when one of their gaze met her . Chewing her lips nervously, she felt scared and waited for the rain to slow down.

Jiya pov

As soon as the rain started slowing i decided to leave the place . I looked ahead to take the last glance towards the group of men who were looking like street fighters with all the tattoos and chains and rings and piercing over them ,  only to risen up heart beat seeing them coming towards my direction .
