I can't imagine James being anything but straight and dating anyone except Lily sure I can imagine him having a handful of short-term girlfriends over the years but other than that it's just no I can't see it
James definitely knew about how abusive Sirius's family was to him and wouldn't want anything to do with them even if it's Regulus who as we know wasn't as bad as Walburger and onion but he still had some involvement in hurting Sirius
James wanted absolutely nothing to do with blood supremacists like sure I'll say it again I know Reg wasn't as involved in it as Walburger and onion were but he still had some form of involvement with it even if he doesn't agree with their ideals he's still apart of the organization and so are most of his friends? he's basically everything James is against and don't enemies to lovers me this isn't the time.
It makes no sense like I know I know 98% of this fandom is made out of fanon but in no way can I imagine James and Regulus positivity interacting with each other, especially with what James knew about Sirius's family I mean I can imagine it like how it was in the Pengiwen marauders but that's because Regulus started having his character development really early in the story but other than that I can't help but imagine him not changing his mindsets until later, especially with what we know about him in canon even if it's very very little and sure maybe in the Pengiwen marauders Regulus and Sirius's relationship changes at the very last minute before Regulus dies and that leads to Sirius hating him but for now I'm just gonna think that even though I absolutely love and adore the Pengiwen marauders series and consider it canon Pengiwen series Regulus is not like how I totally recognize him.
I saw a lot of people saying that it started out as a crack ship, therefore, meaning that it was supposed to make no sense until people started genuinely shipping it out of nowhere
I just love flowerpott to much to change it like sure multi shipping is a thing but I just love them too much to change it if that makes any sense
