Noco Oneshot #1 (fluff)

{No one's POV}

It was a sunny bright day on Wawanakwa island, the birds were chirping, the leaves were flowing through the wind, and everyone was having a great day. Besides Cody, Cody's day was not so sunny and bright, he got rejected by Gwen AGAIN! Cody was currently sitting on the step outside of his cabin playing with a nail in the wood. Cody was staring at the ground feeling down as ever, all he ever wanted was for someone too truly love him, at home his parents barley talked to him and were always busy. Cody started tearing up and hid his face with his hands, Cody did not want too embarrass himself infront of everyone, not like they were paying attention to him too begin with.

Noah just finished reading his book and was on his way back to the cabin when he noticed Cody sitting on a step covering his face. Wonder what's up with him? Probably something stupid. Thought Noah. As Noah got closer to the cabin he could hear small whimpering coming from the gap toothed boy, Noah just stared and wondered if he should help or not. Noah decided to help the sad boy even though it might be awkward due to the recent Awake-a-thon incident. Noah got closer and sat next too Cody, "Hey, you okay? You seem down in the dump's." Noah asked.

{Cody's POV}
I stared crying at the thought of never finding someone that will ever truly love me, I know it's a sad thought but I can't help but think that's the case, I've asked many girls out before but all they ever tell me is! "You're not my type." "You're too skinny." "Fix that gap tooth first before you come talking too me." "You're just a pathetic nerd too think you could ever pick up someone like me." It's not fair! And it really hurts, some of those things I can't even fix! My parents won't pay too get my gap tooth fixed, and I don't get that hungry. I should just give up. . . I heard footsteps coming towards me but I ignored it, I then felt  the wooden step I was sitting on creek. "Hey, you okay? You seem down in the dump's." I uncover my face and look too my right, before my eyes I see the sarcastic bookworm who kissed my ear, also known as Noah. He usually has this uncaring bored expression, but this time he has more of a softer look and more caring eyes. He seemed to actually be slightly concerned about me, maybe I should tell him but I feel like he would think it's stupid. . . Nevermind why do I even care, someone is asking me how I'm doing so I'm gonna tell them, might as well get it out of my system. I wipe my eyes that are puffy and red and take a deep breath.

{Noah's POV}
Cody uncovered his face and looked up at me, I could tell he had been crying due too his watery puffed up eyes and his cheeks stained with his tears. I carefully put my hand on his shoulder too atleast try and comfort the guy, he just looked down at the dirt again, he seemed too be thinking. He then looked back up at me and wiped his tears, he took a deep breath and started to explain. "I'm tired of feeling lonley, I just want to have someone who really cares about me and will love me, and really make me feel special! And then I can make them feel the same way. . . You get what I mean?" He told me while staring into my eyes, for what I know is that Gwen probably rejected him again, and this is why he is feeling like this, I'll admit that I normally don't feel bad for people that have issues in the love department, but I can't help but feel a little bad for the guy. He would try and talk too Gwen and she would either interrupt him by telling him to beat it, or would flat out ignore him. "Yeah I get what you mean, but let me guess you got rejected by Gwen again?" I asked, already knowing that the answer was probably yes. "Yeah, and every other girl in the world too. . ." He said looking down at the dirt again. I don't really know how too make people feel better but I did the best I could, I slowly got closer too him and wrapped him in a soft hug. "Hey." I whispered too him, "I'm sure that somewhere out here in the world, someone will love you very much Cody, you just gotta wait and be patient. You probably aren't in that chapter of your life yet." I told him, trying to sound as soothing as possible.

{No one's POV}
Cody's mouth hung a little due to being surprised by the words coming out of Noah's mouth, the words made Cody feel better and he slowly reincorporated the hug. Cody could feel the nice warmth radiating off of the other and he started feeling better, they both sat their enjoying each other's presence, Cody felt heat rise to his face and he could feel his heart flutter, he liked this feeling. The feeling of someone actually caring for him, maybe Noah was wrong. Maybe Cody is in his chapter of finding someone who truly loves him, and that person might so happen to be the one who is embracing him, Cody did not want to let go, neither did the other, they both just wanted to enjoy eachother. And that's just what they are gonna do.
