PART 15

"Hi, Mr. Jin" Lily get up from her seat and greet Jin who was walking past her desk.

Jin stops his pace and sends a smile to Lily.

Jimin, Hobi, and Jungkook also turn to the girl.
Everyone smiles at her except Jungkook.

"Hi, Lily. Are you heading home?" Jin ask after he had a glance at his watch.

It's 5 pm and intern staff will be released an hour early than the other staff.

Lily nods her head cutely.

"She's cute" Jimin whispered to Hobi but Jungkook can hear it.

"See you tomorrow then," Jin says goodbye before continuing his pace and the boys follow him.

Jungkook who walks last send stares at Lily.

"Washroom..." Lily sends a whisper and winks at him. Then she walks to the washroom.

Jungkook sigh. He wants to ignore her but he knows, she won't let him away.
He needs to do something.

He ran to Jin and pat his shoulder.

"Hyung, I left my phone in the meeting room, I will catch you guys later" Jungkook makes an excuse because he needs to meet Lily.

Jin nods.

"Make it fast, we will wait for you in the discussion room"Jin send an instruction.

Jungkook nods and ran to his destination.

He saw Lily walk slowly to the washroom area, Jungkook walk next to her and ask her to meet him in the store room.

He moves first and a few minutes later Lily joins him inside the small room.

" I thought you will ignore me or maybe pretend not to know me?" Lily walks closer to Jungkook.
She tries to seduce him.

Lily run her fingers all over Jungkook's face.

"You look different Kookie," Lily praises him.

Jungkook pushes her finger and her body away from him.

Lily shocked.

"I'm not here to make love with you, I just want to warn you." Jungkook glared at Lily.

He walks closer to Lily and pushes her back to the wall.

He cups her face using his hand.

"Don't you dare to talk to me or seduce me again after this because I won't fall into your trap again" Jungkook widens his eyes while he warns Lily.

Lily suddenly burst into tears.

"Jungkook, I'm sorry. Sorry for everything that I had done before. I don't even realize that you sincerely love me back then." Lily sends her apologies.

Jungkook slowly loses his hold on her face.

Lily grabs Jungkook's hands and holds them with hers.

"I was immature at that time. But now I know, I had thrown a diamond away from my life. And I so regret it" she continued to plead.

"Jungkook, please, give me a chance. I know you hate me but please, let me be your friend" Lily's face started to wet with her tears.

Jungkook pulls his hand away from Lily. He walks to the door but he stops when suddenly Lily kneels on the floor.

"Just a friend Jungkook. I won't ask for more. I got no one here. If anything happened, at least I had a friend that I can rely on" Lily continued to beg Jungkook with her cries.

Jungkook turns to Lily. He starts to feel bad about the thing he said just now.

Of course, they were too young for a love but he was sad when he knows Lily only used him all the time before. Even though she knows that he loves her.

He wants to help her to get up from kneeling and takes her into his hold but something stops him.  He's not the old Jungkook who uses to freely touch and hug any girls he likes.

Now he is a new Jungkook. He had promised himself that he will only have Yn in his life.

"Just friend," Jungkook agree to be a friend with his puppy love, then Jungkook left the room.

After the door was closed, Lily get up from her knee.

She brushes all the dust on her pants and wipes her tears using the back of her hand.

"Gosh... My makeup.." She sight.

She tries to calm herself then she draws a smirk.

"A friend is just a first step Jungkook, I know you can't resist me..." Lily talks to herself.
