PART 9

Yn lost her words. She needs to come up with an excuse for why Jungkook sends her home.

But what?

She doesn't have any clue or idea why Jungkook sends her home.

Suddenly there's a knocking sound from the main door.

"It must be a friend of mine." Yn excuse herself to the door.

Along the way to the door she keeps praying that Hyunjin will forget their conversation related to Jungkook.

"Hi there," Jin greets Yn with a smile when she opens the door.

"Jin? So you're the one I talk to just now?" Yn ask excitedly.

Jin nods his head.

"Thank you for your kind help Jin. I don't know why I can be so careless and leave my phone behind." Yn nagging herself.

"Careless?" Jin asks curiously.

Yn just shakes her head.

"Do you have anything after this?" Yn ask Jin with her bright smile. She needs to do something as pay for Jin's help.

"Depends on why..." He smiles teasingly.

Yn laughs in tiny.

"Let's have dinner. My treat." Yn offered Jin for a dinner.

Jin smiles and shakes his head.

"It's okay Yn, you don't have to repay me. But just let me know, how are you? Are you feeling better?" Jin bends down to check on Yn's face.

"Why? Am I looking like I'm sick? " Yn try to joke around.

"Ehem..."

Both Jin and Yn turn to the voice coming from Yn's back.

Hyunjin raised her eyebrow at both of them.

"Hyunjin, this is my office mate, Jin, and Jin, this is Hyunjin, my landlord " Yn introduce both of them.

Jin and Hyunjin look at each other for a while before bowing as a greeting.

"You should ask your friend to come in, instead of talking in front of the door." Hyunjin reminds Yn before she left for the kitchen.

Yn turns to Jin with an awkward smile.

Jin again laughs at her reaction.

"It's okay Yn. Besides, I just came to drop your phone and also your handbag." He passes both of the items to Yn.

Yn takes the phone and bag but her mind is full of curiosity about how and why she left these two important things behind.

"And about our Fila's meeting, I had sent all the minutes and details by email." Jin continues his word.

"Daeng!!" Yn facepalms herself.

Jin pats Yn's head while smiling brightly. Yn's reaction looks too cute in his eyes.

It's not just today, since their first meeting on Yn's first day of work, he already starts to feel something towards her.
Some kind of attraction.
But he just ignored the feelings until he was assigned to work with her and Luna.

He got a chance to know her personality closer and he always loves all of her reactions.
She is bad at lying, so she will pour all her honest reactions and opinion on everything.

" I had placed some juice in the living room, " Hyunjin announces from the living room.

"It's a sign that you have to come in and had at least a sip of the juice before you leave" Yn pulls Jin's hand and drags him to the living room.

Jin tries to decline but he already reaches their living room now.

There's Hyunjin on the couch watching her favorite cartoon show while hugging a bucket of popcorn.

Jin takes sits on another couch while his eyes look around the room.

'Nothing changed'

Yn excused herself to her room and leave Jin and Hyunjin alone.

"I didn't expect to see you at my door, Mr. Kim Seok Jin." Hyunjin breaks the silence and sends a stare to Jin.

Jin draws a tiny smile. He then sips the juice and leaves Hyunjin's words hanging without a reply.

Hyunjin chuckles.

She looks at the man in front of him.
The man who used to be a part of her life two years ago.

"How are you?" Jin slowly turns to Hyunjin. He locks at her eyes.

"I'm doing great..."

Jin nods his head.

"How's Henry?" Jin still locked his eyes on her.

Henry, a name that causes him to loose Hyunjin, his first love.
Hyunjin works as Henry's secretary for about a year and slowly their relationship grows from the work-mate to lovemate.

Hyunjin drowns in his sweet words and decides to break all her promises to Jin.

"We are happy..." Hyunjin draws a smile on her face.

"Glad to hear that." Jin also smiles and turns his gaze to the screen.
Try to divert his mind to the show.

"By the way, thanks cause you had help Jungkook get a job" Hyunjin try to pull Jin into a conversation.

Even though there is nothing between them, Jin still treats Jungkook like his own little brother.

"He deserves the job. " Jin answers it simply.

Hyunjin releases a sigh and it's attracted Jin's attention.

"Are you okay?" Jin sounds worried by hearing her sigh.

"I'm not" Hyunjin stroked her long hair.

"I need your help Jin." Hyunjin looks at him. She knows Jin still had some feelings for her and he won't turn her down.

And she will use this chance.

"What can I do for you?"
