After that night in hotel Klaus eyes opened slowly to feel something soft on his chest. He looked down to see Caroline placing her head in his chest and sleeping peacefully.
He didn't move slightly to not wake up her. She looked adorable while sleeping like that. A smile creeped up on his lips.
If someone told him he would be acting so sweet around someone and smiling this much He would've straight called it bullshit. But here he was experiencing the same.
"Mmm" Caroline's sleepy voice got him out of his thoughts.
"Good morning love."
"Hmm Good morning." She said still sleepy.
"I need coffee." Caroline said waking up.
Then she added ,"Oh wait today's Their engagement isn't it? My clothes are still there let's go."
Klaus nodded.
"Uh...Sorry...for you know.... sleeping on your chest like that." Caroline said.
"It's alright love I don't mind at all."
"I know you don't." Caroline muttered and Klaus smirked.
They both woke up and got in the palace where everyone was still sleeping except Hayley who came in Caroline way.
"Oh Hi." Hayley said awkwardly.
"Hi?" Caroline replied with hesitation.
"I just want to say I am sorry."
"For what?"
"Sorry for being the one Tyler cheated on you with I mean I know it is not my place to say. But Really I am sorry Caroline. I know you didn't deserve that It's just that after spending time with Tyler I kinda started to like and when that like became love I don't know Just I am sorry." Hayley said with sincerity.
Caroline sighed. Klaus was still watching those two.
"Look I might not like Tyler and I still believe he is a dick but.... I guess I don't hate you that much....So congratulations on your happy life with him." Caroline said.
Then added ,"That's the best thing I could say right now."
Hayley smiled and said ,"Thank you."
Klaus and Caroline entered the room.
Klaus looked at her and asked ,"How can you do that Caroline?"
"Hmm?"
"I mean How could you possibly forgive her?"
"I don't know it's just love is something you can't control and I know she is too good for Tyler I just wish Tyler would take care of her atleast." Caroline sighed.
Klaus nodded.
"I am going to change." Caroline said.
"I can stay." Klaus smirked.
Caroline threw a pillow and said ,"Oh get out."
Makimg him laugh.
They both got changed (seperately unfortunately).
