Chapter 22

"Ana come watch this video!" Nate yelled from downstairs. "NO! Bring it up here!" I whined back. "You're so lazy." He chuckled. I heard him running up the stairs, walking in to his room where I still remained in bed. "Okay here. Watch" he said handing me his phone. "It's the Where Art Thou vid" he said sitting next to me. I watched as it started, Nate getting out of the car. Then the girl start dancing on him. It hit me in my chest. It went on and I don't know how it made me feel. "You like it?" He asked. I almost hesitated but I nodded my head. "Something's wrong. Tell me" he said. "Is it that girl? Ana Mae is jealous?" He said. I groaned. "No." I pouted. "Don't be jealous." He said, "BUT THIS ISNT THE FIRST VIDEO SHES IN AND IN THE OTHERS SHE WAS ALL OVER YOU!" I cried. "Ana it's okay, she knows I have a girl" he told me, "And she thinks you and I are perfect. Stop the tears mama" he smiled wiping my face. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and pulled me toward him. I sighed into his bare chest and shut my eyes. I was so comfortable and Nate made things so much better being with me. "You okay now?" He asked kissing my forehead. I nodded, "Good now let's go. Sam wants to double date tonight" he told me. I looked at him, "Where to?" I asked. "Movies, bowling and dinner" he smiled. I nodded, got up and Nate slapped my ass. "OW!" I yelled grabbing where he hit. "Goofy. Go get ready" he smirked. I shook my head and went to shower.

"SAMMY! QUIT CHEATING!" Avery yelled. I laughed at her reaction, missing Nate get a strike. "FUCK! Nathan you little cheating ass bitch!" I squealed. Sammy and Nate sat back laughing, "Come on Avery, we don't like cheaters" I said and she grabbed onto my hand. "No no no, not so fast" they said, pulling us back with our arms crossed over our chest. "Can we do bumper cars and laser tag?" I pouted my bottom lip at Nate. "God damn baby. Quit with the cute shit and let's go play" he said. I giggled and hugged him tightly, throwing my arms around his neck.

"So...how'd you guys enjoy tonight?" Sammy asked. "Eh" I said climbing into the front seat. "Eh? You better of had fun" Nate chuckled. "I did I promise. I'm just super tired" I laughed. "You can go to bed when we get back baby" he smiled, starting to drive away. His thumb drew circles on my thigh, making me smile. "Sam want me to drop you a-" he stopped. "He's asleep, isnt he?" Nate laughed. I nodded giggling to myself. I tapped Averys leg and watched her look up. "Hmm?" She mumbled. "Should we drop you guys off at his house?" I asked. She nodded, "That's fine. Thank you" she smiled. I nodded and turned back around. We stopped at Sams house and woke them up. "Guys, we're here." Nate said. Sammy stretched his arms out, accidentally hitting Nate in the face. "Bro!" Nate yelled. "Oops, my fault dude." Sam said getting out, carrying a sleeping Avery. "See yall around" Sam said. I smiled and waved as he walked inside. Nate hopped back in the drivers seat and drove us to my house. "I love you" Nate mumbled. "Excuse me?" I smiled, knowing I heard him but I wanted him to say it again. "I. Love. You." He smiled. "Good. Because I love you way more" I smiled back. I looked down at my phone, seeing a message.

Danny👌🏼(changed his text name): hey!! Can I come visit you soon?
Me: why? You have a girlfriend
Danny👌🏼: uh? I don't Ana
Me: wrong. I saw your post with "bae ass". Don't lie to me again.
Danny👌🏼: Ana....
Me: no. Don't. You told me you'd wait for me until things cleared up. But guess what? You didn't! You have you a girl and I have me my Nathan.
Danny👌🏼: I-I'm sorry....
Me: it's whatever now

"You okay mama?" Nate asked as we got out of his car. I shrugged. "What's up?" He asked again, pulling me to his side. I shook my head, "it's so funny how people make these promises, and break them. I'm so glad I have you for this" I said. "Whatcha mean sweetheart?" I looked at him, "Danny wants to come visit but I told him why should he since he has a girlfriend, as much as he promised he'd wait for me. So I told him to forget it because I have you and he has..her" he nodded opening my front door. "Well you'll always have me, okay? I'll be the one you walk down the aisle to, the one you'll wake up to everyday, the one who will tell you to stay in bed when the baby is crying and I'll take care of them, the one who will make you the happiest girl ever. I'll be there." He told me as I sat on the counter. "Thank you," I whispered into his chest.
