Chapter 12

MISAKI'S POV

I was annoyed that Sanzu just cut off contact with me because Mikey for some unknown reason wanted me dead.

It had been a few days since I last spoke to Sanzu.

Even if Sanzu changed his mind and contacted me I'd be mad at him.

Yui is convinced it's because I'd fallen in love with him but I'm saying otherwise.

Today was the day of Takemitchi and Hina's wedding.

I put a nice dress on before attending the event.

The actual wedding was really wholesome and I honestly wished the couple well.

I wouldn't mind becoming closer friends with the two of them.

The after party was interesting, well my table was anyways.

I'd been seated on a table with Draken, Chifuyu, Kazutora, Yui and another person called Mitsuya.

There was two empty seats.

"Who's meant to be sitting in those?"
Yui asked.

"Takemitchi invited Mikey so ones for him and the others for a friend of his, if he brings one"
Draken explained.

I doubt Mikey would show up in all honesty.

"Mikey would really show up? After all this time?"
Mitsuya wondered.

"I would"
A voice stated.

I almost choked on my drink as I saw that Mikey did actually come and he brought stupid Sanzu with him.

You have to be joking.

Maybe I should run?

Suddenly the atmosphere on the table was awkward.

"Mikey, uh how've you been?"
Draken wondered.

"I've been better Kenny"
Mikey admitted.

I felt a nudge under the table and realized it was Kazutora attempting to get me to read my messages.

I opened up my phone and saw two messages, one from Kazutora and one from Sanzu.

I ignored the on going conversation which I hoped would get less awkward.

I opened Kazutora's first and read what it said,

'This is the first time I've seen him since the Baji incident, this is awkward'
Kazutora typed.

Honestly I understand why Mikey would be angry about that but he didn't seem to be particularly hostile to Kazutora at the moment.

I gave Kazutora a reassuring pat on the knee.

I opened up Sanzu's message and had already decided that whatever it is, I will ignore him.

'Mikey has had a change of heart, I will be seeing you later, I've missed you' 
Sanzu messaged.

I scoffed and looked up to see Sanzu staring at me.

I couldn't care less if Mikey no longer wanted to kill me or if Mikey wanted to reunite with his old friends again.

I was annoyed that Sanzu was so willing to cut me off over Mikey not liking me.

I felt Yui knudge me harshly.

"Oi what's that for?"
I huffed.

"Mikey asked you a question"
Yui stated.

"Oh what did you say?"
I wondered.
