"You'll never win Kacey, you might as well admit defeat," He growled as he chased after the smaller male through the forest, pushing his body harder for speed," Only if you can catch me Jackass," Kacey said quickly, his shoes pounded against the cold wet ground, shivering slightly from the calm wind, leaves caressing his face as he flew by them.
Up ahead was Kacey's destination, his safe spot, the one place he needed to get to win the bet, a small light wooden cabin nestled between thick dark trees with a small porch attached along with a couple of rockers moving with the wind and a thin looking door shut tight with a latch.
Feeling hope bloom inside his chest, he tried to run faster unaware of the other male lunging behind him.
Next thing he knew he was falling toward the wet grass, the air escaping out of his lungs as he shut his eyes waiting for the painful impact instead he felt muscled arms tightly wrapped around his abdomen," I told you to admit defeat didn't I?", Blake panted, his hot breath tickling the nape of his neck causing the younger boy to shiver slightly," Didn't know you were that insecure that you needed me to give you a fake win", He groused, his body tensed, confused as to why his skin's temperature started to heat up from the feel of Blake against him, back to chest, chest to back.
"I'm pretty sure your fate was locked as soon as this race started, Love," He whispered, resting his head against the petite boy's shoulder, his finger softly tapping Kacey's sides, uncomfortable with their positions he started to squirm a little," I thought I told you not call me that," He mumbled weakly, turning his head sideways, surprised to find the other boy already looking at him with those soft amber eyes," And I remember telling you I don't care, now you own me 25 bucks for losing," He replied pulling away, a smirk gracing those pink lips, chest moving with each breath," Gimme," He ordered playfully as he spoke, making a grabbing motion with his hand, cracking a smile he patted his pockets, feeling for his wallet, frowning when he didn't feel it," Don't tell me you lost your wallet, Kacey," Blake teased," I didn't lose it, Blake it's probably in the car besides I don't have to pay you as soon as the race is over, in fact, you," he pointed his finger towards him, "cheated," He called out.
" How in the hell did I cheat, Mr accuser," Blake said, crossing his arms defensively," What do you mean how did you cheat, you jumped me you asshole, instead of putting your hand on me like a slap or something you decided to lunge at me!" Kacey complained, looking at the boy dead in the eyes.
Blake grinned
"Did I ever tell you how adorable you look when you get angry, like a little puppy trying to act all grown up," He chuckled, loving the way Kacey's face looked all red and flustered," You know what I'm leaving, I'll pay you tomorrow until then goodbye and shoo!"He said offended, spinning back in the direction of where they parked their vehicles," Aww come on Kacey, I was only telling the truth no need to get your panties in a twist," He smiled as he saw the other boy pick up his speed, trying to get away from him but sadly it didn't work since it didn't take much before Blake caught up with him since he strides were a bit longer than Kacey's.
He kept up the silent treatment until they finally made it back to their cars," You know even though you're an ass or whatever, I didn't mind hanging out with you today, so thanks," Kacey murmured, a blush rising onto his cheeks, eyes glazing in the embarrassment of his words." I'm not gonna lie I'm glad you came with me Kacey, honestly, you did me a favor by seeing your cute ass again," He smirked, watching the other boy spluttering for words," You know what, go fuck yourself, Blake, put that hand of yours to use," He shouted, giving the other boy the middle finger as he started his car, turning up the radio to drown out Blakes laughter, he drove down the dirt road, a smile finding it's way upon his lips.
Watching the red corvette speed down the dirt road he pulled open the door to his sleek black truck, heart beating too quick for his liking.
This year was going to be fun...
