I let out a long groan as I realize the reality that is that I have to go to school today. I get out of bed and reluctantly get ready for the day.
As I walk towards the kitchen, I approach my father writing frantically on a bulletin board with miscellaneous papers and red lines.
I sigh. "This again..?" I addressed.
He whips his head towards me and stammers for a bit before saying "if you would just let me explain-"
Y/N-"I'm done with you explaining! No, we are not 'descendants of man eating giants', and that old book was probably some crackhead fanfic or something!"
Dad-"but it was-"
Y/N-"look, I'm going to school and I want you to just rationalize this a bit. Bye."
And with that, I was off to school.
But little did I know how right my dad was.
School went off without a hitch..that is until 4th period. I was walking through the halls when I saw an oh-so familiar face approaching me. I tried to speed walk away but he wasn't having it today. Before I knew it I was pinned against the wall.
Terry- "I KNOW you snitched on me for that shit last week. Now you're gonna pay!"
Y/n- " I was protecting you from yourself now get out of my w-
Terry then punches me me square in the nose causing a nose bleed. I feel adrenaline coursing through me. Then, all of a sudden lightning surrounds me while the last thing I see is flashes of that girl from my dream..
