" Yah! Jung Harin! "
I heard a very familiar voice calling and turned around to see my cute little friend running towards me.

" Did you see the news?!! " Sejin asked me as soon as she reached shaking my shoulder.

" What are you taking about? "

" L2H has an alternative!! For all those who don't like the sad ending! " Sejin asked squealing happily.

" Oh that's great. " Sejin looks at me suspiciously when I replied with an unexcited tone. But I get saved before she could ask any questions by the school bell.

The news about the alternative book, which was gonna be published on next monday, spread like fire, even before the publishing of the book everyone was excited to read it. However I was feeling guilty because people were more excited to read this book rather than the original. If I was in place of Chan I would be angry with me too.
Since the book hasn't been published yet, no one knows that the author has changed.

Warning: going to sleep on Sunday will cause monday.
And I dared ignore that and now it was monday again. Which meant the book is gonna publish today. Dreading what was about to come I pulled the blankets above my head and rolled to my side, trying to sleep the day away.

But the constant ringing of my phone was giving me a headache so I groaned and picked up the call without looking at the caller ID.

" The person you're trying to reach is currently unavailable please do not try again. " I tried mimicking the robotic voice and decided to hang up but stopped as I heard Chan's voice.
" We need to talk. "
So it wasn't a dream. Well shit.

Ignoring the texts from sejin or anybody in particular I made my way to the café where chan asked me to meet.

I was anxious. Last time I talked with chan he didn't like me much, so I was scared that he would hate me. I would never want to be the recipient of hatred from someone as kind hearted as chan. So I walked as slowly as I can but the road was shorter than Changbin so I reached the café in just 10 mins.

After standing outside the café for what felt like eternity, having an internal debate to whether face chan bravely or just turn around and walk away like a coward, my mind liked the 2nd idea most but my hand pushed the door open.

' Why does my body reacts differently than my brain? smh. '

A life saving note for you all. When someone says that we need to talk, say sike and run away because its never a good thing. But here I was ignoring my own advice, sitting in front of Bang Christopher Chan who happened to be the author of the book whose title I stole.

Chan saw me fidgeting with my fingers nervously and sighed.
" Look you don't need to look like a scared abandoned puppy. I'm not mad at you. "

Chan started. But I didn't dare look into his eyes.
" I know that I acted harshly towards you which I shouldn't have because you were just trying to correct the mistake I made by separating two souls who were meant to be together. But I'm not angry at you anymore as I realised when I saw Minho and Jisung in the kitchen messing around and just truly being in love that they deserve a happy ending. But I can't do that alone because I'm not experienced in romance myself so I needed someone to change the story. "

Chan explained looking at my reaction and continued, " So I wanna say thank you, for changing the story for me, my friends and all those people who wanted the story to have a happy ending. " Chan ended his speech sincerely.

I looked into his eyes nodding. I was overwhelmed and didn't how to react so I just smiled at him. We ordered some coffee and laughed around, talking and joking about anything and everything.

" I always wanted to ask you about why did you name me Hari instead of my real name Harin? " I asked curiously.

Chan thought for a second and responded. " I didn't like the n in your name. "

I stared at him 'like seriously?'
He laughed and replied.

" I didn't want to make it obvious because people know who I'm and since we go to same school people would recognise you if I were to use your real name. And since I was lazy enough to not think of anything else I named you Hari. "
'It makes sense.'

" By the way, did you know that hyunjin and innie started dating?? " Chan asked me in disbelief. I nodded happily because of course I saw how hyunjin was whipped for the maknae.

" What you knew too? Seungmin also knew about them. How come I'm the only one who didn't? " Chan asked surprised.

" It was quite obvious as the whole school knew about this. It was about time those two decided to date. " I said giggling happily for the new couple.

Chan nodded along my words.
" Talking about seungmin, he misses you, a lot. " Chan said grinning smugly.

I tried to keep my blood flowing instead of freezing in my cheeks. " Is he back? " I asked in a whisper and Chan heard it as his smile widened. 'If he smiled a lit bit more his face will divide into two.'

" Hmm he was eager to come with me today but I wanted to talk to you alone. But I'm sure he'll ask you on a date soon. " Chan said.
Not once he stopped grinning and I was trying to keep my heart rate normal.

Suddenly the door bell rung and I looked behind me towards the door to lock eyes with Sejin, whose texts I ignored since morning.

Sejin pointed her index finger at me accusingly and started speed walking towards me. I tried to look for an exit and unfortunately there was only one entrance and exit into the café which was blocked by the ball of fury walking towards me or should I say rolling?

" WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU TELL ME that YOU were collaborating with THE Bang Christopher Chan, the author of my favorite book?! " Sejin exclaimed pointing her finger at me accusingly.

" And you freaking changed the ending?!! I mean thats great but why did you hide the fact that you were collaborating with my favourite author!? I could have got the chance to meet him because we barely see him in school!! "

She plopped on the seat beside me and dropped her head on the table, muttering incomprehensible words. I looked around the café which was mostly empty so not many people saw her throwing a tantrum.

I glanced at chan who was watching sejin with amused eyes, who was unaware of a human sitting in front of me.

" I'm so disappointed in you. " Sejin said looking into my eyes. Her eyes we're glossy and she looked like she would burst into tears any moment.

I panicked and pulled her into a hug. " I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. I didn't meant to hide this from you. I was scared that people would hate me for stealing the book and changing the end so I was afraid. I'm sorry I did not meant to hurt you. " I said rubbing her back.

People would think that she is overreacting but she had trust issues. Which means that she has been betrayed enough that she barely had any emotion named trust in her to give it to someone and I just broke it.
I didn't want to cry but looking at her sobbing frame I let a single tear slip from my eyes.

Chan sat there awkwardly not knowing what to do. He picked up the tissue and passed it to sejin who reluctantly pulled away from me and wiped her eyes.

A moment of realization shown into her eyes as she looked directly at chan, suddenly aware of his presence.

"Was he sitting there all this time?! " Sejin asked in shocked voice. " And I had a full breakdown in front of him!!? "
" Can someone just bury me. " Sejin muttered covering her face. Chan giggled at her cute behavior and my cupid instincts tingled.
