Sonic sighed as he sat the table by himself. Lunch was being served and he felt alone without his goddess next to him. He felt like a wolf that had been away from his mate for moons. All he had wanted was her to love him like he loved her.

Sonic shook his head and covered his ears. His sanity and insanity were colliding. He started to think about letting her out early. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if he let her outside? As long as she stayed away from the ocean and Eggmans lair it would all be fine.

No.

Sonic shook his head again. He couldn't take the chance. She'd go there and find 'it' and he'd have nothing anymore. His insanity would be in the corner of his mind instead of his sanity again. He couldn't allow that. He had worked so hard to get to where he was today.

"Just until dinner...then she can be with me again..." He told himself. His own words seemed to choke out of him. He didn't want to wait that long. He needed to be beside her. But he just knew he'd release her if he went to her now.

He moaned and threw his hends over his head. He felt himself feeling what she was. Sadness, anger, confusion, betrayal all mixed up together. It was slowly driving him more insane then what he already was. He needed something to distract him from her torture.

"Tails! Knuckles! Sticks!"

Immediately the three appeared. They looked ready to get slapped, beaten, tore apart, and put back together. Good thing too because that's what Sonic had in mind of doing...

Amy was sitting on the ground crying her eyes out. Literally. Her blood tears felt like they were melting her eyes away. She could hear screaming all around her. It was like this room was cursed with souls that wanted to be set free.

She knew that she was only being kept prisoner in this room. Sonic didn't have the strength to hurt her. But then, why was she feeling so much pain? Amy was trying her best to stop crying. She just wanted to leave now. She should've left ages ago. She should've ran the first time she was outside.

Her head hurt so much. She needed to relieve the pain, but how? "How is the pain...going to leave?" Amy wept.

"With this, Amy..."

Amy's eyes widened with fear and shock as she looked up and saw Tails. But he looked different. He was cleaner, his fur was soft, and he didn't have blood on him.

"T-Tails? Wha-"

"No time to explain Amy. Sonic needs you to save all of us."

Tails put his hand behind Amy's head and forced her to drink a bottle. "He wiped some of your memories away. Don't worry, this will take away the pain and you'll remember."

"T-Tails? H-How?" Amy tried to speak through the bottle and some of the liquid spilled through the corners of her lips. "Please...Amy...I'll explain everything as soon as I can. But you need to drink all of this."

Amy managed the rest of the bottle and soon remembered everything that had happened. The pain melted away as the blood tears turned to regular salty tears.

"S-Sonic...h-he did...he killed everyone except me? He-he got so...scared at seeing me hurt. Th-that can't be him!" Amy whispered in fear and cried more. Tails rubbed her back as two more hands offered her comfort.

Knuckles and Sticks.

Sticks bended down and hugged her friend. "Hey Amy...it's gonna be better soon. You're right. That's not our Sonic. That's his insanity. He wants you to never leave, but you have to. Find a way to leave. Go to Eggmans lair, find the notes next to his body. You'll know what to do from there on."

"Where...where are you all going?" Amy cried as they released her.

"Back to our bodies...we saved up enough energy to help you right now. We tried to get other memories, but it didn't do much apparently." Knuckles explained. "It was my idea." He gloated.

Tails turned to him and shook his head. "Not a time for that Knuckles. Not now." Knuckles hung his head as he and Tails disappeared. Sticks smiled down at Amy. "You'll save us. I know you can. Just remember this rule...
Don't. Stop. Running."

(2 hours later)

Sonic was in the royal bedroom with blood smeared on the sheets. He hadn't been able to keep Amy off his mind. His sanity was screaming at him to go release her and give her what she wanted.

His insanity was starting to feel the same way. Except he didn't want to let her outside at all. Sonic thought about something he could do to let her go outside, but not be able to run away.

"A balcony!" He exclaimed.

Sonic grabbed a piece of paper and placed it on a desk beside Amy's side of the bed. He started to sketch out a map of what the balcony would look like. He put the tip of his finger, which had blood on it, on the side of his mouth as he thought about it.

"Must be fit for my queen..." He told himself. "A bloody rose? Yes, I like that idea." He nodded and a crazy smile spread across his face. He focused on getting the design first. The rose would catch the eyes of...well...no one, but it would tell Amy how sorry he was. And that he loved her.

He worked on the designs for hours. He was so focused he had forgotten to get Amy out for dinner. His eyes had widened when he saw the time.

|6:30 p.m.|

"I'm that late? I need to go get her now. Before it's too late for dinner." Sonic quickly put away everything and ran to where Amy was. He slowed down and took a breath before he entered the room. He could feel Amy's emotions again. But some of them seemed more relaxed and faint. He grew worried and opened the door.

Amy still was chained to the wall and it seemed she had cried herself to sleep. It was painful for Sonics sanity to see. On the other hand, Sonics insanity didn't much care, she had been taught a lesson. He hoped he wouldn't have to do this again.

Sonic unchained Amy and her body fell limp to the ground. Sonic slowly picked her up and kissed her forehead. "Ames...it's dinner time." He whispered in her ear. Amy's eyes started to flutter open. He hinted some fear, but then it dialed down a small bit. Amy licked her lips nervously. "S-Sonic?"

"Yes my love, it's me...come; let's go eat." Sonic rubbed his nose against hers as he grinned happily. "Can you walk?" He asked her. Amy shook her head and he smiled happier then before. "Great" he whispered to himself.

(Dining room)
Amy was terrified as Sonic sat her down at the table. She was living with a killer. How was she gonna get outside? She wouldn't be able to coat her scent for much longer. The blood from the room was wearing off and she needed that to his her emotions.

Sonic gave her a plate of food and smiled at her. "Eat my dear Rose~" Amy hesitated before she took a bite out of the food. It tasted sour and meaty, a weird combination, she knew it wouldn't settle well. Sonic didn't eat at all. He just sat and watched her eat the dinner slowly.

Once it was done Sonic wrapped his arms around her and kissed her behind the ear. Then he kissed her quills and breathed in her scent. It still smelled like blood. "Let's go to bed now..." He picked Amy up and ran her to their room.

The bed was made and the blood was gone. One of their friends or one of the monsters must have cleaned it up for them. Sonic put Amy down and kissed her goodnight. Then he got into bed himself and wrapped her up tightly in his arms.

Amy closed her eyes and tried to figure up a plan to run away tomorrow. She had to leave. She was going to leave and...

She was going to save her Sonic, and their friends...
