Unavailable Love (Kudou Shinichi x Y/n)

Chapter 6: Stay

It has been three days, three days of Shinichi being a kid, three days of Shinichi being missing, and three days of Y/n and Ran pestering Prof. Agasa about Shinichi's whereabouts. Now, Y/n is at the airport, bidding her parents a good bye. Why? Well..

//Flashback (A week ago)\\

"Y/n, dear!" Yuri, Y/n's mother called. "Yes, mother?" Y/n asked in confusion. "We're moving out, I have a big business trip in London. It will last for a year, because it's a big time opportunity.." Her father, Akashi Suriya said. "I'm sorry, father. I can't go with you guys." Y/n said. "And why is that, Y/n?" Her mother asked. "I-I want to be with my friends, mother. I'm not saying that I don't want to be with you and father, it's just that.... I won't be comfortable in a new society." Y/n explained, half truth and half lie. "Well, if you say so. We'll be leaving in a week. Where are you going to stay? I can't just let you, my precious one and only daughter to stay here alone, I should at least get you a bodyguard." Suriya said, concerned about his daughter. "Don't worry father, I'll just ask Ran if she can let me stay at her house." Y/n assured her father. "Leave that to me, I'll ask Kogorou-kun if he can let you stay at his house.." Y/n's father said, he's an old friend  of Kogorou, because Kogorou is their company's former personal detective, but Kogorou resigned because he wanted to be a private detective. "Are you sure you won't come with us, dear?" Her mother asked her again. "I'm certain, mother." Y/n said.

"Y/n. Don't forget to always call us, okay?" Suriya asked. "Father, you'll be leaving next week, not today." Y/n chuckled at her father, followed by her mother. "I'm just concern for you! You're so important to us." Y/n's father, defended. "Yes, father I know. I love you guys." Y/n said to both of her parents. "We love you too, dear." Yuri said, and the small but happy family hugged each other. 

Truth to be told, Y/n didn't go with her parents because she want's to fight for her love for Shinichi. She planned on confessing when they went to Tropical Land, but just like magic, Shinichi is nowhere to be found after he went to that dark alley and followed the men in black.

(A little background check on Y/n)

Y/n's family own a company, it's one of the big supplier of technology in the world. Y/n is the only child of the Akashi Family, she have a cousin but they we're not really close. Her cousin, Akashi Seijuuro, is the perfectionist type, while Y/n is contented to what she have and achieved. Y/n's family company is called, "Akashi Technology Empire" or "A.T.E". Once Y/n turn 18, she will have her training of managing a company, because she will be the next heir of their company once she turn 20 or above.

Afterwards, Y/n decided to walk home, Ran's home. As she was walking, she passed by Rakuzan High, her cousin's school. She sighed and walked again. "Y/n!" Y/n heard a voice that she don't even want to encounter in her life. "What do you want, Sejuuro?" Y/n asked kindly. "You must be lonely after Aunt and Uncle left.." Seijuuro said, but it's more like teased. "If you don't have anything good to say, get lost." Y/n countered. Akashi, being the person who's always perfect and the person who hates being disobeyed, raged but he kept is cool. "You still have a shitty mouth, Y/n." Akashi said through gritted teeth. "and your still an idiot, trying to be perfect at anything when you can't even handle your emotions properly.." Y/n retorted, and because of this, Akashi snapped, but before he could pull out his scissors, someone called him. "Sei-chan!" it was a guy with a not so long black hair that reached up to his upper neck (by the jaw). Akashi calmed himself before saying, "You're lucky, Y/n. You should be thankful, or else, you're bloody body would be laying around the ground now..." Akashi warned, as he left. "Akashi-kun!" Y/n called, and when Seijuuro turned around, Y/n stick out her middle finger and started running. 'This stubborn bitch' Seijuuro thought, without noticing a small smile appear on his lips. Akashi Seijuuro, he hate his cousin, but he still cared for her. Being the only child too, he look at Y/n as his sister, that he will look after at, not now, but someday. He promised himself, and Y/n's parents that he will protec Y/n with everything that he got. He was thankful that Reo, his friend and basketball teammate, called him before he snap out at Y/n, or else, he would be the cause of death of the person he swore to protect.

Y/n arrived at Ran's house, giggling. "What's so funny, Y/n-neechan?" Conan welcomed her. Y/n laughed after remembering the scene and Akashi's reaction. "Sorry, Conan-kun. I just remembered something funny while I'm walking home." Y/n laughed. "O.....kay?" Conan said, still confused. "Oh, Y/n-chan! How was your goodbye with your family?" Ran asked, as she came inside the living room. "It was fine, Ran-chan. They will call me once they land in London." Y/n replied. "That's good. Dinner's ready, let's go! Oto-san is already at the kitchen." Ran said. "Hai!" Y/n and Conan chirped, followed by the two's giggles. 'Conan remind me of Shinichi when we are called by Ran, like telling us that dinner is ready whenever we have sleep over at either Ran or my house, Shinichi and I would always say 'Hai!' in unison, but... it's impossible, right? It can't be... he can't be...' Y/n thought while looking Conan, who was walking ahead, right beside Ran. Everyone ate happily, only Kogorou wasn't really paying attention to them, as he's busy watching his so called 'Yoko-chan' while eating.
