The Tale of the Guardian

"Can't you do this for me?"

"No" I said while cleaning my dishes.

"Hindi ka ba bored dito sa bahay?"

"No" I said as I walked towards the living room.

"If you do this, I'll allow your presence in the basement"

This time I could already sense her desperation. To allow me inside the basement where I spent my whole life trying to sneak in? But, I could already decipher the password so it doesn't matter anymore. I just shrug.

"Still a no" papasok na sana ako sa kwarto since hindi naman ako makakapag chill sa living room kung 'nandon siya.

"He needs you" I heard and I stoped. Almost immediately turning so I could looked at her, confused.

"He needs you more than any other Casters" kumunot ang noo ko.

"He is that weak?" Now, her lips started to form a smile. Sensing the sudden piqued of interest.

"Did he requested for me?"

"No..." she whispered and I turned my back. She then quickly grabbed my hand and even put a Stone Spell in me.

"But his parents did, they are afraid he'd get hurt" is what she said and a hologram popped up.

There, I saw a boy that's hair as black as the night and held the stars captive in his eyes. My frown deepen.

"He's a descendant of Night"

A descendant of Night clearly have jet black hair. Shining eyes like the stars and a pale complexion. Plus the sharp eyes that reminds me of a crescent moon.

She smiled at me and another hologram popped up.

I saw him, getting bullied by another Casters. He was desperately trying to block airballs and even fire with that stick-like arms. But what do you expect with that arms and that little mana he have? Of course he was beaten up and even passed out on the spot.

"No" I said and wear the Stone Spell off.

"But why?!" I'm surprised that she's that shocked. Hinawakan niya pa ang braso ko matapos kong humindi.

"You want me to train something like that? With that amount of mana, I bet he wouldn't even touch air"

"But I'm not asking you to train him. I'm asking you to protect him, just like a...normal guardian" my brow shot up.

"But I'm not a normal guardian. I could even afford to turn your offer down" she bit her lips and her eyes started to water. That when my eyes rolled. Alam na alam niya kung paano makuha ang gusto niya.

"Alright. I'll see him just once and I'll immediately decide whether to take him or nah" she enthusiastically nod.

And that's why I'm freaking here in the world of Casters. With a broken teleportation clock, and a twisted space and time. In addition to all this crap, is a mother who wouldn't even answer to my mind link. And...when did that boy grow up? 

"Are you Ellionore Villaluna?" Lumingon ako sa likod to make sure I'm the one she's talking to. Nobody's there so I think I'm the one she's talking to.

"No" saad ko sabay taliko to contact Mellie again.

"You are!" Sabay turo niya sa bandang dibdib ko. I confusingly looked down only to see myself wearing some kind of a uniform? A gray coat and a dress shirt underneath that is tuck in a gray above the knee skirt and a gray doll shoes. I even have a nameplate that's pin in the gray coat.

Ellionore Villaluna

I read the nameplate and nearly rip it off. I'm not Ellionore Villaluna. I don't even know who's Ellionore Villaluna is! My name is Ellie the Guardian of the Central Miniva! Where am I?

"Nice to meet you! I'm Asha Bellue, I'm from the Northern part of Castellian" she seems pretty happy meeting me.

With her white eyelash, white hair that's reaching her waist, reddish lips and pale white skin, she shake my hands...aggressively. I fake a smile and tried to get my hand back. Hindi niya binibitawan, she is babbling something that I don't understand. I have a lot in my plate right now and I just wanna be alone. Or try to use this crappy teleportation clock to at least contact mom.

"The gates will open two days from now, that's why we'll be staying here for now. I saw the apartment and your name is beside mine, that means we'll gonna be roommates!" Hindi ko na namalayan na hinihila niya na pala ako. Amidst this crowd, amazingly I could still hear her blabbers.

Sinubukan ko ulit kunin ang braso kong yakap yakap niya pero mas hinigpitan niya ang kapit dahil sa crowd na makakasalubong namin. She must have think she'll lose me in this crowd.

"Halika" she pulled me closer to that group.

"That crowd is familiar, Twilight and the Level 1 Casters must have arrived too" tumingkayad siya, I got curious and tiptoe too.

Pero wala kaming makita sa sobrang daming casters. But I must have been a fool. I'm a guardian, I could use my mana to see what I wanna see.

Sighing,  I tap my forefinger in the person in front of me and my vision traveled up to the front of the crowd. I used one of the types of a Vision Spell.

Now I could see 3 people ahead, one with the blazing red hair, who's boyishly smiling. One with the light green hair with a glasses and a friendly smile. Lastly is the one with the familiar black hair...black hair that it is as black as the night and held the stars captive in his eyes.

My jaw dropped, when did he grown-up?

Stone  Spell- limiting someone to move/ forcing someone to stop moving.
Vision Spell- makes you see what you wanna see, varies with the type of Vision Spell used; Future, Past, and Share.
Future Vision Spell- can see future visions, not entirely and the kick back is huge.
Past Vision Spell- can see past events, small kick back effects.
Share Vision Spell- sharing vision with someone; could be a person, and animal or an insect. Kick backs to the body is big, bigger than the kick back of the Future Vision Spell. Could only be use once a month; depending on the level of the Caster.
