I took Cora to Alex's motor home, and knocked on the door. "Mommy why are we at someone different's motor home?" Cora asked.

"Someone needs to talk to you," I told her. "Oh, Okay," she replied.

The door opened and Alex stood there, "Come in, guys," Alex said.

We walked in and I noticed things hadn't changed much at all, but Alex was never the type for much change. Cora and I sat down across from Alex. It was awkward silence for some time, until Cora spoke up.

"Y'all gonna talk or not?" She asked, having Alex's sassiness.

"Uh yeah, um Cora, you've always wondered if you had a daddy?" I asked.

Cora nodded, "Yeah, you said you don't know who he is,"

"Honey, I've hidden it from you, and I'm so sorry."

"Why? Who's my dad?" she asked.

"It's me," Alex said. Cora turned her head around so fast, "My daddy is Alex Bowman?!"

Alex nodded, "I'm sorry I haven't been around. Don't be mad at your mom, she was just hiding it to protect you. If you will let me, I want to be in your life,"

Cora stood there, thinking a minute before running over to Alex, "This means you have to play princess tea party makeovers with me!!!" She climbed on his lap and hugged him.

Alex hugged her back, and he had tears in his eyes, I snapped a pic of them hugging without them knowing, but wasn't going to post it.

"Mommy can I stay with daddy tonight?" Cora asked.

I looked at Alex, "I'm fine with it if you are," he said to me.

I nodded, "I'll go get her stuff,"

After exiting the motor home, I couldn't help but let some tears fall. It would be the first night I had been without Cora since she was born, three years ago.

I walked into Joey's motor home, and packed Cora's bag up. "What's going on?" Joey asked.

"Cora's staying at Alex's tonight," I sighed. "You're letting him get her overnight already?" he asked.

"It's whatever, I might go bother Erin and Will," I said.

I walked back to Alex's, walked in with Cora's bag. "Fair warning, she's got Barbies and ponies in here," I put the bag down by Alex.

I explained everything there is to know about her to him. And he nodded.

"If you need anything just text me, my number's still the same." I said.

"I uh kinda deleted your number..." Alex replied.

I wrote it down for him again, "Alright Cora, come here, mom's gonna go see some friends,"

Cora came over and hugged me. "I love you mommy," she said.

I hugged her back, "I love you too princess, be good for daddy, okay?" I replied, fighting back tears.

"Okay!!" she exclaimed. I walked out of the motor home and texted Erin.

Emma to Erin: hey y'all busy?

Erin to Emma: Nope come drink with us

I headed over to William's motor home, walking in, "Hey,"

"Are you good? Girl you look like you're about to cry," William said.

"Alex and I just told Cora that he's her dad, she insisted on staying with him tonight and I haven't had a night away from her since she was born back in 2022" I sighed.

William tossed me a beer, "Oh so now he wants in her life? Took him long enough." He said.

"Yeah no shit," I took a drink of the beer.

Erin walked out of the back, "Wait Alex is finally stepping up to be a father? Someone document this shit," She said.

I chuckled a little. William turned on a movie, and we watched it, drank and bantered about random shit.

"You need to get laid," Erin said outta nowhere.

I choked on some popcorn, "Oh my god Erin,"

"Well you do! Let's see here, Bubba's single, Chase is available, umm who else is?"

"Oh um Austin Cindric is available!" William exclaimed.

I facepalmed, "Okay one, Bubba's not single, he's married and he's an asshole, Chase is creepy and Austin is too cocky for me,"

"Gragson?"

"Manslut,"

"Riley Herbst?"

"Blonde. Not interested,"

"Damn she's picky," William said.

"Yeah, I am," I replied. "When I'm ready, I'll find the right person, not like he's gonna just come knocking on the door,"

All of a sudden there was a knock on the door. "Y'all quit playin with me,"

"It's open!" Erin yelled. The door opened and low and behold, Ryan Blaney walked in.

"Heyoooo—Emma," he smirked, diverting his attention to me.

"Blaney," I replied.

"Oooh she's pulling out the last name card, Erin was right you are hard to get," He smirked.

I rolled my eyes, "Did I mention I don't fuck my best friend's brother either?"

William busted out laughing.

"C'mon let these love birds be," Ryan smirked.

"I'm only coming with you because I need fresh air," I replied.

We walked out of the motor home, and Ryan smirked at me.

"Nothing is gonna happen between us," I stated.

Ryan smirked, "I hear whiskey gets you goin,"

"Dammit Erin!"

Ryan laughed, "C'mon I won't do anything without your consent, but I will get you to consent,"
