Waving the Green Flag (Alex Bowman)

Chapter 2

Em' POV

I woke up when I felt movement next to me, I noticed I was naked, looked over and saw a naked Alex Bowman standing with his back to me. He turned around when he heard me moving around. His naked front was now facing me.

"Y'know standing in front of me naked like that is gonna make it hard to not have a morning round." I smirked at him.

"Oh yeah?" Alex smirked, climbing on top of me.

Alex smirked before pulling out, and laying next to me.

"Well if that wasn't enough motivation to win the race today, I don't know what is." He said.

I smirked, "I'm glad I could be of help," I laid my head on his chest. I felt him drawing patterns on my back with his fingers.

"Jeez you've been out longer than all night." Joey said.

I smirked, "Yeahhhhh."

"Where even were you?" He asked.

"At my friend's hotel." I lied.

Joey just nodded. "Alright, I'm heading to the garages, race starts at 1:30."

After Joey left, I took a shower and got dressed in a vintage Dale Earnhardt Sr. t-shirt, some white shorts and checkered Vans, and threw on a basic NASCAR hat. I locked Joey's motor home and headed to the garage area.

As I'm heading toward Joey's garage, I'm pulled aside, behind the garages. "Hey you," Alex said. I smiled, "Hey."

His lips crashed onto mine, and I kissed him back.

"I'm going to win this race, for you baby." Alex whispered in my ear, sending chills up my spine.

"Yeah? Well I look forward to celebrating with you tonight," I winked.

As promised, I was able to meet Alex in victory lane, this man ran a hell of a race. Joey finished 2nd, and basically Alex stole the lead from him. Joey's not gonna be in a good mood. I no longer had my random NASCAR hat on, I had a hat that had the Chevy logo on one side of the front, Bowman written on the other, and on the side of the hat had 48.

I saw him drive his car into victory lane; he hopped out and celebrated with his team, before pulling me over into a huge ass bear hug, and kissing me. "You're a man of your word." I said to him. "I am, also cute hat. Where'd you get it?" He asked. "Greg gave it to me." Talking of his crew chief, Greg Ives, who used to be Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s crew chief. Alex took Jr's spot when he retired a few years ago.

After the victory lane celebration was over, the teams were getting ready to pack up and head out.

I wasn't sure where Alex lived, but I live in North Carolina, it's gonna suck not being around him. Unless I went to the race in Indy.

I was laying down in Joey's motor home, we were heading back to the Charlotte area, and it was a 4 hour drive from Richmond.

My phone was starting to blow up. I checked it.

Alex Bowman, driver of the #48 Ally Financial Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports lead 37 laps on Sunday's race at Richmond Raceway. And of course a win like that calls for a huge celebration in victory lane. Well, for Bowman, that seems to have included one of his rival's family members. Crews have captured multiple photos of Emma Logano, 21 year-old sister of Team Penske driver Joey Logano, who finished in 2nd (after Bowman stole the race from him) and Bowman, getting pretty intimate in Victory Lane. Hmm, we wonder if Joey knows?
