Aether pov:
It's been a few days since all the students are preparing for the cultural festival. I was sitting on my desk while looking at the window, and they came in.
"AETHER!"
Venti ran toward me to hug me but he fell down and Kazuha helped him.
"Haha I forgot that you were a ghost. Aether today our classroom theme was maid cafe but crossdress. I looked cute right!"
Venti and Kazuha were wearing their maid costumes.
"Yeah you look cute! I like it. Where is Xiao?" I smiled
"Xiao come in, don't be shy!" Venti calls him while Kazuha pulls him to get in.
I saw him in a maid outfit and he looked so cute I wanted to take a picture but I don't have a phone.
"Ughhhh I hate this outfit!-" Xiao said.
"XIAO YOU LOOKED SO CUTE!" I said with starry eyes.
Xiao blush. Venti took out an extra costume and gave it to me.
"Aether you should try it too please! 4nemo will not be complete if you don't try it!" Venti begged me.
I was hesitant to wear it, but I can't help his cuteness. I sigh. I went to the restroom and took off my clothes and wore a maid costume.
'It's been 2 years since I changed my clothes.' I thought.
I came back and stared at me and their faces looked like they saw a ghost. 'I know that I'm a ghost but still.'
"Why is there something wrong?!"
Venti ran toward me. "NOO YOU'RE SO CUTE, YOU LOOK LIKE A GIRL!"
"Yeah." Kazuha nodded while Xiao stared at me. Venti started to take a picture of me.
'Aether looks so familiar…' Xiao thought.
"Aether later I participated in the crossdress contest you should watch me!" Venti said.
"Oh okay! I'm gonna support you!"

I went to the bathroom again to change my clothes.
"I hope Xiao didn't think suspicious of me." I sigh. While I'm changing, I remembered the cultural festival from 2 years ago.
Flash back:
All of my classmates were busy at the cultural festival while I didn't do anything because my other classmates were already assigned to do things. I was sitting on the corner. I don't have anything to do in my classroom, so I left. I looked for Rose but she was busy, so she can't join me for today. I walk around the hallway, maybe I can see something interesting. But I didn't.
"I can't enjoy the festival if I'm alone… I envy others who have friends."
I saw Xiao and his friends looked happy. I just stared at him from afar while eating my ice cream. After that I go to my place again on the rooftop. I sit there while looking into the sky drinking my strawberry milk. I want to call Lumine but I remember that I didn’t tell her we were having a cultural festival today, and she was hanging out with her best friend Kokomi, I don't want to ruin it.
"I guess I'll wait for the cultural festival to end and go home…" I sigh.

"Am I that lonely 2 years ago?! I hope it won't happen again..."
I left the bathroom and went to Xiao's classroom. I watch them from the outside.
"They look so busy. I guess I will come back later."
