TW: mentions of storms
Soldier enjoyed being the leader
He took it with pride on how his plans never failed but some days it was easier to let out the soft side
The plans were cancelled today because of the raging storm outside and that also meant that it was also a ceasefire day
Who would want to fight with the chance of being struck by lightning?
Soldier was in his room
rain clashing down onto the window
Soldier had L.T Bites with him to help him stay regulated
Sure he was alone right now but he couldn't be scared
He's a big strong American of course he's not scared!
...alright maybe he was a tiny bit scared but that didn't mean anything
Engie and Spy were walking in the hall and when they passed Soldier's room, a big crash of lighting and the scared gasp from inside the room
The two peaked in to see Soldier sitting on the floor with his raccoon and plush eagle
"Soldier. Is the storm scaring you?" Spy says as quietly as he can to make sure no one else hears
Soldier lifts his helmet slightly looks up at the two
"Not at all! ...but while you're here could you stay?"
Engie chuckles as the two enter and sit down next to Soldier
L.T Bites starts nibbling on Engie's overalls then runs back to Soldier
"Hey Soldier? Do ya wanna draw? I know that you like it at times?" Engie asks the now fully regressed Soldier
Soldier reaches under his bed and grabs a pack of pencil crayons that have a few bite marks on them and a stack of paper "yes!"
The three draw for a bit as Soldier forgets about the storm
Engie drew some of his machines
Spy didn't really draw but just wrote messages
The Frenchman looks at the Midwestern American and asks the question "What did you draw soldat?"
Soldier holds up his drawing to reveal a drawing of Engie, Soldier, Spy, and L.T Bites riding on the back of an eagle
