Lost and Clueless

The teens ran as fast as they could to find the source of the cries for help. Once they arrived, they found Chip and Xander huddling over something.

"Chip! Xander!" Vida ran ahead of the other two.

"V! Xander's leg!" Chip guided her over. "It's stuck!"

Xander smiled nervously. "Yeah, I kinda got myself into a bit of a sticky situation.."

Not only was his leg stuck under some rocks, but there was a yellow goo-like substance around it.

"Ew..." Vida walked up closer and inspected it.

"What is that stuff?" Madison knelt down by Xander, with Nick close behind.

"Whatever it is..." Nick gave it a disgusted look as he plugged his nose. "It's not exactly fresh either."

The rangers all worked together, trying to get the green ranger's leg out of the rocks....and the goo.

"1..." Vida began counting.

"2..." Now Madison.

"3..." Then Chip.

"Pull!" They all yelled and hauled Xander out.

"Ow ow ow!" Xander winced as they did so.

Everyone just sat there as they tried to catch their breath. Madison crawled over to Xander and inspected his ankle.

"How does it feel?" She asked, concerned.

"Like my whole leg was torn off..." Xander groaned. "The goo doesn't help, eh?"

"Yuck! It's everywhere now.." Vida whipped of some goo as she gave a disgusted look.

The teens all groaned as they wiped off the goo that landed on them. Luckily it wasn't as much as they thought, but it still wasn't very comforting.

Maddie took another look. 'What in heaven's name is this stuff?' She thought. "M-maybe we should go find Root Core?" She looked up shakily as she remembered...They were still lost.

"Madz is right..." Said Xander with a nod. "We're still stuck out here, and it's almost...1:05.." He then checked his watch again.

"Maybe Udonna can find out what happened." Chip nodded in agreement. Vida followed.

Nick nodded as well, but sighed. "You know...We're still lost. How do we get back?" He glanced at Madison, who was looking down at the ground. He moved a little closer to her. She thankfully didn't notice.

In the meantime, Maddie was looking down because she could hear a faint voice. She didn't know if it was in her head, or if it was real. When it finally went away, she looked back up to the others, and actually noticed that Nick was a little bit closer than earlier. She also noticed Vida staying close to Chip as he held his arm around her.

'Some people are clueless..' Maddie thought, holding back a chuckle.
