Chapter one
I looked across the table at Noah, perfect smile, perfect eyes, perfect, well, everything. Everything single thing about him was perfect. Not one hair out of place. Not one wrinkle in his shirt.
Only one word described him: Flawless.
But then there was me. My hair frizzed when the weather was warm, and my left elbow had a scratch on it from me falling down from getting out of the car.
Only one word described me: Imperfection.
Yet he loved me. He said he wouldn't want to date anyone else, not a cheerleader or even Chloe Region, President of Everything Important. But i always felt… bad. Bad that i didn't love him as much as he loved me. Bad that when he held my hand, i didn't get butterflies. Bad that when he kissed me i didn't have the urge to kiss him back, but to push him away and say goodnight.
He deserved someone perfect, as perfect as him. Not me.
"What are you going to order?" He asked smiling that dazzling smile of his.
"Um…," I glanced over the menu. "Whatever you're having." He loved to order for me, always getting me to try new foods. I hate when people order for me but i liked it when he smiled, it made me feel less guilty.
"Okay then." He said beaming, i forced a smile.
Thats how everything in this relationship was; Forced.

After dinner we went to a movie. I looked around at all te happy couples and the envious girls starring at me. I tried to feel happy and satisfied that his hand was holding mine. I just couldn't though. Be satisfied, i mean.
Halfway into the movie, i excused myself and went to the bathroom, i didn't actually have to go, i just wanted to get his arm off my shoulder. I looked in the mirror. I was the only one in here. Eventually the door opened and a middle aged lady walked in, signaling i better leave because she obviously was not having a good night, i could tell by the soured look on her face. I hurriedly opened the door, walking out as quickly as possible. i looked back to see the door was closing behind, while looking back i wasn't watching where i was going to ran into something. Something hard. A wall? I turned around to see what i ran into. A guy. A tall guy, about my age. His hair was dark brown and cut short around his ears, his eyes were a bright green, truly dazzling. I guess i was staring at him for a long time because he kept asking me if i was okay.
"Oh, im fine!" i stuttered looking down at my shoes, my heart was thumping so our, i bet he could hear it. Why is my heart thumping like that? "Im so sorry!" i apologized, "I was just not watching where i wa-" He cut me off.
"Its fine, i was in your way." He said laughing. i guess i looked dizzy because he put both of his hands on my arms trying to steady me.
I narrowed my eyes to look closer at him. This boy was beautiful, and i didn't even know a boy could be beautiful.
"Im Andrew." He said smiling. I just stared, i didn't mean to be rude, i just couldn't stop myself. "This is when you tell me your name…" he prompted, we both laughed. Cute and a sense of humor.
"Im Audrey. Ive got to get back to my movie…" He nodded.
"I'll see you around then?" He said it as a question like he wanted me to answer it.
"Mhm." I mumbled biting my bottom lip, a bad habit i have. He pulled out his phone.
"whats your number?" I don't know why but for some reason my lips started moving and before long, this beautiful stranger had my phone number.
"Bye Aubrey." He said, vanishing into the crowd of people that had formed next to the popcorn line.
"Bye." I wispered.
"Bye who?" Noah said appearing behind me, scaring the life out of me.
"Um i just saw a… Friend." i was a terrible liar, but noah didn't pry. So is that was andrew was? A friend?
"Okay… Well the movies over, lets get you home."
The whole car ride home noah talked about the movie and i nodded and laughed at all the right parts even if i really didn't agree with him or think the parts were funny. I was to busy thinking of andrew.
When we pulled into my driveway Noah turned off the car. It was dark out so i could nearly make out his perfect features. He leaned in. He was going to kiss me.
Instead i leaned in too, but i gave him a hug. He looked confused. I just couldn't fake another kiss. Not tonight, not with Andrew on my mind. I thanked him and got out of the car, felling terrible, leaving him there all confused.
That night i didn't sleep. i rolled around in my covers hoping i would see Andrew again sometime, or maybe that he would call me. I laid there until finally i convinced myself that he probably wouldn't, i eventually fell asleep.
