You, were a princess.

He, was your loyal servant.

You were nothing short of perfect, the famous princess was only to be the best of the best.
He was but a mere servant, expected to serve his dear princess, and he gladly did.

The crowning ceremony was today, and you were nothing but thrilled, you sat down on your bed tiredly, since you just woke up.
You decided to call your lady-in-waiting and your (favourite) servant to help you get ready for the very long evening.

You sighed for what felt like the hundredth time today 'even the thought of this ceremony make me sick to my stomach, it would've been better if i was born into a baron's family than this royalty hell, maybe i should ru-' your thoughts got interrupted as your favourite butler entered your room, with a stoic dace as usual, he greeted "Good morning, your majesty. How may i he of assistance?" Asked the shorter male, "good morning to you as well, Ayato.." a (although fake) worried expression rose upon his pale face "my princess, are you alright? You seem oddly tired"
You forced and smile and muttered "i'm alright, worry not. I am just nervous for today"

although the boy didn't believe you, he nodded and didn't pester you about it.

~time skip~
After a very tedious process of showering, fixing your hair and dressing up..etc was done, you still had a bit of time before the ceremony started, so you decided to go to the balcony, your safe space, where you observed the bright stars and the beautiful moon, you loved nature, any aspect of it fascinated you.

the door opened softly, and closed with a quite click, you did look back but you heard the familiar steps of ayato's shoes.
"my lady..." he mumbled, you turned around at the title, and a small smile rose upon your face, just happy to see him "hello, ayato.."

at that moment, he couldn't fall deeper inti the hole of love, and he couldn't crawl back out.
