Lavender and Sasuke were sleeping in their bedroom, sarada was next door and menma was across the hall from his sister. The Uchiha-uzamaki family was fast asleep when a figure with a partner stood at the window, the figure looked at their partner "we snatch the jinchuriki, don't wake anyone. We can't have them coming after us" their partner nodded, they opened the window and jutsued to the bed were the couple was asleep.

A kunai was thrown at them as the couple moved out of bed and armed themselves against the two unknowns.

"Damn it, I thought they were asleep" the male figure said "you can't catch two ex-akatsuki members off guard" Sasuke growled, stepping Infront of his wife in a protective manner. "We're not after you. It's her we're after" the woman said and lavender rolled her eyes, Sasuke clenched the handle of his katana. "You're not touching her" the two activated their sharingan, the male 'tched in annoyance.

"Sasuke, count of three we charge, we have to keep the kids safe" lavender whispered to him as he nodded, keeping his eyes forward but stayed Infront of his wife protectively. "Get her" the two ran at the couple who blocked and began to fight, recking the room in the process. Lavender axe-kicked the female while Sasuke delt with the male, Sasuke clashed his sword with the male as he growled in annoyance. Lavender was worried about the kids but right now she needed to get the two annoying people out of their home, Sasuke glanced at her knowing that she was worried about the kids, he was as well.

Lavender and Sasuke kicked their opponent's at the same time, making them crash out of the window into the yard. "Get the kids and hide, I'll take care of them" Sasuke said making her shake her head "no. I'm not leaving you!" She yelled, he placed his hand on her cheek "I'll be fine. It's the kids I need you to worry about, there after you but right now I need you to take the kids and run to Naruto's they'll hopefully be awake" she was reluctant, she was worried about her husband. He kissed her "go" he told her before racing outside to deal with them until lavender left with the kids.

She groaned in frustration but ran to her kids rooms "sarada!" Lavender slammed the door opened making sarada yelp and fall off the bed, Lavender winced at her daughter who fell and grabbed her glasses giving them to her. "Mama?" Sarada asked with a yawn "hunny, throw on some clothes and meet me in the hall. I need to grab your brother" she said and raced to menma's room, she slammed the door open and he jolted up with surprise "mom?" She nodded "come on, we need to leave. Now" he threw the covers off and grabbed his kunai's meeting them outside in the hall.

"What's going on?" Sarada asked "no time to explain" Sasuke ran into the house panting and hurt, sword in hand and looking at his family. "Lavender, we need to use that jutsu" "you told me not too after this morning!" "I know. They will be in here in any moment, you three are my concern right now" he told her "grab on" lavender said and they grabbed her hands disappearing in violet feathers.

They arrived in Naruto's living room making Hinata and Naruto run downstairs to see what was in the living room and ended up finding their family in there. "What happened?" The duo raced in the room, Boruto and himawari ran down the stairs. "They tried to ambush us in the house, we barely got out" Sasuke said "Sasuke! This is why I didn't want you to fight alone!" She scolded "they were after you! I'm not just going to let them take you and do nothing?" He yelled "who?" Hinata asked "the people who took menma. They tried to get me tonight" sarada and menma raced to their mother and hugged her. She rubbed their heads. "Don't leave us" they said "I won't and they won't take me from you either without a fight" she said and hugged them.

"Stay here" Naruto said and ran to his office, how the duo got in reminds him of the time itachi knocked on his door and tried to kidnap him that way. "I'm not letting them take her from me" he gritted his teeth and began to call for anbu and send out Jōnins to catch the ambushers.

"Aunt lavender, uncle Sasuke?" Boruto called out "hey, sorry" lavender apologized. Sasuke sighed and layed his head on lavender's shoulder "don't use the jutsu again unless needed this time" he mumbled and she sighed "yeah, yeah" she smiled as menma and sarada fell back asleep on her, Sasuke hugged them with his only arm. "Yeah, I really miss my other arm now" he frowned making Hinata and lavender chuckle.
