chapter six

Team taka and lavender were running through the woods hoping on branch to branch as they ran, lavender had but her hair in a bun then put her straw hat on so no one but team taka could really see her hair, her Akatsuki jacket was on and her sword on her back.

"Why didn't we just use a jutsu to get where we need to?" Karin grumbled "we'll get about halfway then I'll use the jutsu, it works better if we are half way there without using much chakra" lavender told the red head as she and Sasuke led the way. "I still think we should just use the jutsu now" she grumbled and lavender rolled her eyes. They heard rustling in the bushes and stopped putting up their guard. It was a search team from the hidden leaf and they confronted the group. "Sasuke!" Kiba called out, lavender pulled out her sword and stood Infront of Sasuke with her sharp blade pointing at her old friend "stay" she lowered her voice to make it sound different looking at the search team Infront of her.

"Why are you keeping him hostage!" Sakura asked "it's none of you're business, now if you don't mind we'll be leaving now" she used the hand behind her to tap Sasuke's hand and he glanced his eyes at his team and they ran with lavender following. "Hey!" Sakura yelled and raced after them. Sasuke ran with lavender "we need to split up for now, jugo, Karin, and Suigetsu, head left while me and Sasuke head to the right. We need to lose them" lavender told them "why do you get to stay with Sasuke" Karin frowned "just do it!" Sasuke growled and grabbed lavender by the waist and ran right while the trio begrudgingly went left.

"Hide your chakra" lavender said as she was being carried like a ragdoll "I am" he told her and the two hide in the tree, Sakura and two others ran further from their hiding spot and the two sighed in relief. "Okay, for once, I'm agreeing with Karin in using that jutsu" lavender pointed out and she felt Sasuke chuckle.

"Let's go find the idiots" he said and she nodded. The two went in the direction where the others went and met up with them after they lost the search team that was on their tail "can we use that jutsu now?" Karin asked again "yeah should have done that in the first place" lavender said and held out her hand "hang on cause this will take quite a bit of chakra since we aren't even halfway now" she said as the group disappeared in violet feathers.

"I'm back!" Lavender kicked the door open making the others look at her "about time!" Tobi yelled "shut up, I was busy" she took off her mask and stuck her tongue out at tobi "hey!" He pointed an offended finger at her "oh, I forgot to send a crow to let you guys know, itachi is dead" she announced and they were silent "you're serious?" Konan asked "yes. Infact we have some more recruits one happens to be his brother" she said turned to see Karin and Suigetsu arguing, stomping her feet and marching over she grabbed they're ears painfully "quite acting like children!" She growled and they begged her to let them go.

"Fine" she let them go and they rubbed their paining ears "any updates on the four tails?" She asked "yes, we now have the four tails but the nine and eight we don't have" tobi crossed his arms. Sasuke glance at lavender knowing that she herself was half of the nine tails jinchuriki and she was helping a group to getting the tailed beast.

"Sasuke Uchiha, itachi has spoke of you alot" tobi announced making Sasuke glare at him, tobi gestured Sasuke to follow him "just do it he acts like a child of you don't" lavender whispered to him "I heard that and I do not, it's you who does" he said with an irk mark and the answer she gave was her middle finger at him.

Sasuke chuckled quietly at her childish antics bur followed tobi to see what he wanted, not knowing that he was about to learn the reason behind the murder of his clan.
