As much as he didn't want to admit it, he was bored. Agreeing to meet with his lady was one thing, having to actually wait for her was another. It probably hadn't even been that long, but in that moment five minutes was the equivalent to five hours.

Chat Noir stopped dangling his feet. From his spot on the roof, he had an almost clear view of the Eiffel tower, glowing like a beacon in the late darkness. It wasn't their usual spot--he wasn't sure why. It was one of the things he planned to ask her when, or if, she showed up.

Just as he was beginning to consider contacting her, a blur of red and black flew overhead. When he turned around, the spotted heroine was right in front of him.

"Bon soirée, Bugaboo," he said, standing up to greet her.

Ladybug ran a hand through her dark hair, a tired smile on her face. "Kitty. It's been a while."

It hadn't really been that long. A couple days, at most. But he missed her either way.

"So, what was it you wanted to talk about?"

"You say that like you've been waiting for me to talk about something," she laughed, tucking her yo-yo back into her waistband. "I want to talk about Vixen."

"Ah, the fox girl with a heart of ice." When Chat saw Ladybug roll her eyes, he couldn't help but smile. "What about her?" he asked, making a note to keep his joking to a minimum.

"I want to talk about her, and what she brings to this team." Ladybug began to pace back and forth, not losing her train of thought once. "You saw what she did with the dragon, and how she helped you when I was gone. But she's inexperienced. She has amazing powers, and there's no use if she can't properly control them."

Chat Noir raised an eyebrow at this.
"She seemed to have pretty good control last time though."

"True, but last time she was also impulsive, and wasn't thinking." Ladybug stopped pacing. The tense frown she'd had on her face for the past few minutes slowly faded into a small smile. "If she's gonna be one of us, I think she needs our help."

Now that she was back in front of him, he recognized the hint of determination in her voice. That one where she had an idea and had so much confidence in herself that she couldn't help but share it with him. She was his partner, and his friend. That type of contagious confidence only came from her.

However, he took another moment to process her words, and finally realized what she was asking of him.

"M'lady, I would love to help, really," he started, "but don't you think helping with her powers is something you should be doing?"

"Oh come on. Don't tell me I showed up for no reason."

Chat Noir looked up to see Vixen herself. She was on the level above them, laying on her stomach and resting her chin in her hand.

"If Ladybug is asking you to do something, that has to make you somewhat competent, right?" she said boredly, the points of her canines gleaming in the moonlight.

Ladybug smiled at the sight of her, then turned her attention back to Chat.
"If there was anyone I would trust with this, it would be you. Please, Chat Noir."

He wasn't sure what to say. There were no words that seemed like the right ones. Obviously, he appreciated the fact that she trusted him. But he still wasn't fully sure he could what she was asking.
