It's Friday night, I'm waiting for my bus home. It's pouring rain and I'm freezing. I have a shit ton of homework and I'm exhausted from hockey practice.

Don't get me wrong, I love a little rain but not when I'm sitting in the middle of it. All I want to do is curl up in my bed and sleep. Getting pelted with rain is not ideal.

As I sit under the bus shelter at the bus stop, I see a guy closing up a store near me. The guy slowly strolls over, and.... holy shit. His body is covered in tattoos, at least what I can see of him. His veiny hands grip the umbrella in his hands. His brunette, curly hair sticks to his forehead, and his gray eyes don't even notice me as he walks into the bus shelter.

I look down at my feet, probably looking like a drowned rat with my soaked hair and running eye makeup. The guy turns to me, his lips curl in a curious frown.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing in the rain all alone?"

I flinched a little to the sound of his low mysterious voice.

I look over at him and don't answer.

His eyes went up and down my body, as though reexamining, "You play hockey?" he asks, seeing my training equipment.

"W-why are you t-talking to me?" I realized how bad I was shivering and clenched my teeth together, hoping to make it stop.

"You're shivering." He says concerned.

"No shit." I roll my eyes.

"Short temper, huh?." He said with a smirk.

I looked up at him for a moment, our eyes connected making my eyes dash away. How could someone be so naturally handsome and look so calm in the pouring rain. I started blushing, I hoped my runny makeup would cover it.

He starts chuckling.

"What?" I ask.

"No. It's just that your face is priceless." He chuckles a bit more.

"Here take my jacket, you're freezing, Nothing you're wearing is doing anything to protect against the cold." He grinned.

His eyes traced up and down my body.

I watch him shrug off his jacket and walk over. I can feel the heat coming from him. As he moves closer, the smell of his cologne drifts through the air. He has that distinctly manly smell all guys have.

He places the jacket around my shoulders and sits down beside me. I close my eyes and breathe in deeply. He put his hand on my chin and moved my head to face him. I feel his finger wipe away water that had collected on my lip. I open my eyes and watch him as his eyes trail from my eyes to my lips and back up again.

If this is a hallucination, it's a damn good one.

He puts his finger on my cheek then bit his lip.

The bus pulls up.

"Are you getting on this bus, too?" I ask.

"Nah." he chuckles with his strong voice.

I walk towards the bus. I look back at him watching me, I grin at him slightly, and get on the bus.

I sit down at the back, and quickly open the window.

"Hey! What's your name at least?" I shouted to him.

But he just grins and waves at me as the bus starts to drive away. He walks away from the bus stop, and we both vanish into the rainy evening.

I finally made it home after a long tiring bus ride. I remember I'm still wearing his jacket and I have no way to give it back.

I check his pockets for anything, but find nothing important except for some gum and a business card for a tattoo shop.

I throw his jacket onto my chair and jump into bed.

Hehehehe I have a good feeling about this story already.
