JJ's letterman jacket featured above

Short chapter here guys I'm not really sure where I want the plot to go tbh.

"Wyat Ross please come down to the office please, thank you." I heard over the PA system the morning of my surprisingly vivid dream.

I head into my first period class and spot my group of friends. They're gossiping about the guy on the PA system as I jump into the conversation, "Guess who I bumped into last night?"

Everyone looks at me unexpectedly, I smirk as I tell them about last night.

"And now I have his business card, think I should call it?" I say.

"Yes!!!" They squeal.

I put the number into my phone, bringing it to my ear.

After a few rings on the phone no answer, until someone finally picked up.

"Hey! This is Rob from Illuminate Ink. How can I help you?"

"Hi there, this is super odd but I have someone's jacket and they left your business card in the jacket, do you have any idea how I could get it to him?"

As soon as I say it I realize how dumb an idea this is. I have no name, no contact information, nothing to recognize him other than his very attractive face.

"Did you get a name with that jacket, ma'am?" the manager Rob asks.

"I'm sorry, no." I say sadly.

"Well I'll ask anyone here if they're missing a jacket, but we give out hundreds of these cards everyday, I don't think I can help you."

"Okay, thanks for your help." I say hanging up.

My math teacher starts up her lesson.

Halfway through I begin to fall asleep, I went to bed pretty late last night so that explains why I'm so tired.

"Psst!" My best friend Aria says, "Wanna skip?"

I woke up pretty out of it. Confused and tired.

"Of course dude how could i say no?!" I say finally excited to do something fun.

We gathered our stuff and the moment the teacher had her back turned we ran out, laughing.

"Good idea girl, I needed to get out of there." I say as we walk down the hallway.

Aria just smirks at me and says, "I know, Lana. You looked like you needed some good girl time."

We walk over to the mall near our high school, gossiping about school and talking shit about people. Before we walk into the mall, Aria asks me a question, "Hey, so what happened when you called that guy's business card? You seemed upset after."

"The number went to a tattoo shop, when I met him he came out of one. The manager couldn't really help me and I just don't like it when people don't return my stuff so I wanna return his coat back."

"Is that the only reason?" she says with a smug grin.

I playfully push her and giggle.

Pls I think this is the worst chapter but it's necessary for character development or whatever and we all know I'm only writing this for the plot.
