One month later

FYI I'm not making this like After! Just helpful for the storyline.

I had just handed in my midterm paper, when I got a call.

"Girl, I just handed in my midterm, I'll be at yours in twenty, you gotta chill on your party planning." I say, assuming it's Aria on the other end. My bestie was throwing a party tonight to celebrate us finishing our midterms. Aria seemed to have gone all out and kept reminding me all day.

It wasn't my friend on the line though. My blood ran cold as a deep male voice chuckled on the other end.

"Hmm, I don't know that you'll be going to that party afterall, princess. You have something that belongs to me."

A shiver rolled down my spine as I recognized the voice.

It was Busboy.

"How did you get this number?" I say sternly.

"Wasn't that hard to find, you don't exactly keep it a secret."

My mind flashed to every time I'd given my number to a guy and still couldn't put my finger on how he got my number.

"Why haven't you called before?" I ask the burning question.

If he's had my number for so long, why wouldn't he have asked for his jacket before? And why now?

He chuckles on the other end of the line and tells me to meet him at the tattoo shop at 12am.

"I-" I start to protest but he's already hung up.

I head home as I think about what this means. I can still make it to the party and get to the tattoo shop with plenty of time. I don't like parties much anyways and this gives me the perfect excuse to get out of Aria's.

"Hmm," I hum as I ponder my outfit options. I'm going to have some fun tonight, that's for sure.

Definitely like this chapter more even though it's a little shorter than usually. Let me know what you think so far!

The story only starts to really get good by chapter 6 but after that it will pick up.
