3RD PERSON POV:

Y/N was fiddling with the coin in her hand. She suddenly got the bright idea to use a lottery ticket before the teenage demon, Vance Hopper arrived at the gas-stop.

She scratched up the lottery ticket and groaned as she saw nothing. She saw a familiar bike riding towards the door. The paperboy! She thought.

Paperboy was like her little brother. She always supplied him with whatever he needed for his long rides, she couldn't imagine delivering a newspaper to every building in the town for 3 hours each day.

She grabbed a soda and unlocked the door and stepped out. The fresh autumn air hit her and she took a deep breath. She smiled as she closed her eyes and thought of how happy she was.

"Illie! It's nice to see you again! How have you been?" Y/N said as she traded him a soda for a newspaper. "I broke my arm, that's why I wasn't delivering for a while. They had to replace me with some kid named Griff, I think?" Paperboy said, smiling.

"I wish you best, Y/N, the teenage demon is on his way, I saw him marching down the street a bit back, I waved to him butttt he didn't answer, per usual!" Paperboy said, shrugging and popping the cap off his soda.

"Yeah, he's like that sometimes. I need to get his necessities ready. It was nice seeing you Illie. We should hang out some other time!" Y/N said and smiled at paperboy.

"Defintely. Catch you later Y/N!" Paperboy said as he peddled off into the rock roads.

Grey clouds blanketed the sky and it made a soft drizzle fall. Vance must be mad, he hates the rain.

She stepped inside the station and opened up the newspaper.

TEENAGE DEMON: VANCE HOPPER, CAUGHT VANDALIZING AGAIN?

She sighed and set it down. It had a picture of Vance beside the stupid little article. He had his arms crossed and he was facing the side a tad bit.

The small bell rung and Y/N looked up to see Vance walking straight to the fridge in the gas-station.

Y/N got deja vu.

Major deja vu.

'Has this happened before? This exact day?'

"Y/N!? Are you there? I need some candy please, my body's craving it, and I can't live without-" he sighs and puts his hand up to his forehead dramatically.

"A milky way!" He says leaning backward. Y/N let out a chuckle and crouched down to grab one.

"Thanks Y/N, your my favorite!" Vance stopped and his face flushed, but Y/N didn't notice because she was sorting the cash register.

"What was that, honey?" Y/N said teasing him. He hated it when she gave him the corny pet names. Deep down inside he wished she'd do it more often and he loved it.

"Wouldn't you rather being playing your precious pinball instead of standing here talking to me?" Y/N said, leaning on the counter.

"Oh trust me, darling."  Vance said. Before he could even finish, Y/N had butterfly's in her stoumach. She couldn't help them anymore.

"There's nowhere in this world I'd rather be than right here next to you" Vance told Y/N. Y/N immediately blushed and the next thing she knew, Vance was leaning in and she was leaning over the counter.

"HEY! WHATS GOING ON HERE?" An annoying voice said, ringing through Vance and Y/Ns ears. "Evan! The store isn't even open yet, dingus. It says 10 minutes! Look at the clock on the door, look at the clock over here."  Y/N pointed in different directions.

Vance just walked over to the paintball saying nothing. Evan scoffed and walked in the direction towards the playground.

"Do you need anything else, Eros?" Y/N asked Vance. His face was super red by now. "Another soda, please?" He said with hope in his voice. "Will be up in just a second!" Y/N responded.

"Alrighty, Aphrodite" Vance said, making Y/N totally flushed.

Over the past couple weeks, Vance had been teaching Y/N about Greek Gods and Goddesses. She was very interested in them, they often used their names as ways to flirt.

They didn't know they were actually flirting, they thought the other was messing around, while they took it all serious.

If only they knew.
