A/N: final chapter,

VANCES POV:

I stood, dumbfounded in the middle of the gym, not having a clue what was happening. There were girls in small skirts twirling around me and guys in tight suits twirling them around.

"Hey man, you okay? You look.. confused.." Alex said as he stood in front of me. He was short, so I had to look down when I spoke to him.

"Feeling peachy, where's Y/N? She told me that you knew where she was.." I asked him as he turned around a couple times glancing around for Y/N.

"Dunno, ask Jonathan, I think he knows. Or maybe Caroline?" Alex said as he shoved his hands into his dress pants pockets.

"Thanks, Alex, big help" I say as i walk away, half sarcastic and half not.

I look around for Jonathan or Caroline. I don't see either of them. I finally spot Caroline on the bleachers, with Will right next to her. She looked as if she was crying, with her head down.

"Caroline! Will! What's going on? Where's Y/N?" I asked as I hopped the bleachers. The flashy lights blinding me.

It's already the prom or whatever for school, our friend group decided to go together as 'just friends'

It was Y/Ns ideas by the way.

"It's Y/N! She isn't here! Something happened and she won't tell me what!" Caroline spat at me as Will rubbed her back and nodded towards Alex and Evan who were drinking fruit punch and looking around, panicked.

"Evan! Alex! Talk to me!" I yelled as I ran towards the bar.

"Dude, go to Y/Ns house right now. I heard that she was moving, I think.." Evan said as Alex nodded.

"Yeah man, she needs you" Alex said as his eyes bounced around the room eagerly.

I ran out of the gym and towards her street. The pouring rain mapping my hair to my face and soaking me in freezing cold water.

ALEXS POV:

"Good job guys! I think we did pretty well!" I said as I set down my fruit punch. I sat next to Caroline and she looked up and me smiling.

Here, I'll explain. Me and Will had caught Y/N and Vance in the gas-station uhhhh.... Yeah! So we decided to make a plan for them to get together, we told Y/N the prom had gotten cancelled so she'd stay home! It's mean but HEAR US OUT. Evan had told Vance that she was in trouble! So now he's become the knight in shining armor.

"It's kinda harsh,don't you think? Y/N was pumped for the prom and so was Vance.. now they both don't have what they want" Will said looking down.

"Geez, Will. It's obviously not THAT bad, it's what they want! To be together!" Caroline patted Wills back.

"Yeah, would you prefer to see them sad? or mad? Or anything in between?" Jonathan said as he tied his Doc Martins.

"Jonathan does have a point, Will. Plus there will be like.. hundreds of proms from now till the end of the year, this won't be them totally missing out." I said as I smiled towards Will. His mouth curved into a smile and he stood up.

"Let's spy on them?" Will said as he grabbed his little brother, Evans hand. Caroline scurried off to a girl in a long pink dress sitting at a table by herself. I could faintly heard them, Caroline had wished her goodbye and she told her that she'd call her later.

We ran out the doors and Evan got soaked instantly.

"Umbrellas? Don't tell me you forgot them, Alex.." Jonathan said as he looked up into the sky.

I pointed to about 6 umbrellas by the doors of the school. Caroline ran over and handed everyone an umbrella.

We started off to Y/Ns house.

Y/Ns POV:

I sat on my bed, painting my nails F/C. I loved the tint of it on my nails. 'Grease' was playing on my TV, but was super staticky because of the thunderstorm outside.

I heard running up my stairs "Huh?" I muttered as I switched off my lights, so if it was an intruder, they wouldn't find me.

I saw a familiar bush of blonde hair appear at my door. Vance! He's in a tuxedo, why? I thought to myself as he stepped into my room, flipping the lights on.

"Y/N! Are you okay? What's wrong?" He said as he hugged me. My once dry clothes becoming a sopping wet mess.

"Vance, I'm fine, what's all of this for? I thought prom was cancelled?" I asked him as we pulled away from the hug, his hands still on my waist and mine around his neck.

Man, I've seen this film before and I absolutely adored the way it ended.

"Cancelled? Who said that?" He asked me, confuzzled.

"It was Evan and Caroline, they called me this week and said they cancelled it" I shook my head looking down. He grabbed my chin and tipped my head up.

"I missed you at the dance, it wasn't cancelled" he said staring into my E/C eyes. I noticed he had a couple dark freckles in his gorgeous eyes.

We both leaned in, it was like an instinct. Like it just happens automatically.

His soft lips met mine

I missed your soft, grape-tasting lips.

I enjoyed the moment, although it felt like a short amount of time. We both leaned back and our foreheads were against each other.

"Y/N?" Vance said, it caught me by surprise.

"Yes, Vance?" I asked him and I looked into his eyes once more.

"I think I'm in love" He said.

He took a long long pause.

"With you" he smiled and closed his eyes.

"Teenage demon, baby I'm in love with you"  was all I replied with.
