School ended and William texted me saying he couldn't walk home with me.

I was slightly bummed since I wanted to ask him about his interest, so I could make a present for him. I only knew when his birthday falls on, that's all.

But the other side of me, knows it's okay. I didn't really want to be one of those clingy girlfriend that I know, I hate.

I was walking home when I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around.

Nobody.

I paused for a minute, looking around. Was I imagining things?

When I started walking again, it was there. I quickened my footsteps, it quickened too.

Fear tightened it's grip around my neck, I had the urge to cry. I dialed in William's number in my phone and it rang. Please, William, pick up your phone.

Suddenly, someone shoved me into the alley and pinned me against the wall.

I came eye to eyes with someone I knew.

It wasn't William.

It was Xavier.
