Next day of school, I suppose.

It was a normal routine like yesterday morning: bathe, clothe up, backpack, go. Pretty normal and boring, I know. I know.

I completely ignored abeoji-nim today morning and made my way to the room of the only person who really cares about me in this household, Mark.

"Good morning, Mark. Take me to the school, please." I spoke in our home language, English, as I blinked at him while he trying to get his tie on around his neck properly after seeing me.

"Sammy, it's six in the morning." He looked at me in shock as he shrugged and let his hands fall along his sides, completely showing his astonishment.

"Okay, I'll go by myself." I felt a little disappointed when he rubbed reality on my face, but I didn't care. Everybody loves to do that to me ever since I was born, you know.

"Sam! You know you're not allowed outside your home by yourself."

"I can take care of myself and I'm literally eighteen. And besides, it doesn't even take much time."

"But you're still not allowed outside the home by yourself, Samuel. Rules are rules. If you're seen breaking them, then you know what happens."

I sighed, knowing I won't win this fight with Mark as he's the adult here. "Fine. At least drop me at that garden near my school?"

"Sure, that can do."

And in ten minutes, we were at the garden. I had spotted it yesterday while I was looking out of the window of the car and it looked kind of... heavenly.

It's just.. what I imagine heaven like. All the flowers, they are all colorful, the path is made up of big flat pebbles, the grass shaded grey because of the trees' leaves, the birds tweeting under the white cotton candy clouds, white and grey rabbits hopping around on the sunlit grass.

It was around half past six then, the perfect time to be there. It's a far away garden behind the school building, and our school is already and almost on the edge of the city.

I mean, that's why it's called Busan Meadows Boys' High.

This garden's abandoned, having a big metal gate to restrict it from common folk. But it had no sign of 'danger' on it, just, a boring shade of grey coloring the gate.

I used my whole strength to open the gate, it was really heavy. This was my second time in the garden; I was here yesterday when Mark was getting late in the afternoon.

I took in the smell of the soil and the grass, breathing out whole ecstasy. It felt like I was the owner of this place, it only belonged to me and me only.

It made me crack into a little smile, loving the thought of something belonging to me.

I walked a little further than the place I knew of and saw a big bridge built over a clean, flowing river. The sound of the flowing of the river kept me at ease, calming me down.

I took out my journal with my pencil and eraser as I sat down, and decided to draw some things that caught my eye in this garden.

I first drew the scenery in front of me: the flowing river, trees standing proud over the soil, rabbits occasionally running here and there, flowers fluttering in the air with pride, birds flying over the trees in the search of food, all of it got captured in one little piece of paper.
