Chapter 5: A New Love

-Jacob's POV-

So far it had been a dream come true, Sky, the prettiest, nicest, most considerate girl in the world was going to the movies with me. I couldn't even remember what the movie was called I was so happy.

Out of nowhere she said," You know, I'm really glad we are finally doing this."

I was kind of in a trance so I didn't notice that she had said it at first, but I snapped out of it,"ya I-I, just never thought, you thought of me the same way."

"I think that's so funny, because I tried to make it as obvious as possible, always smiling at everything you said and showing up to all your track meets," she said.

"I guess I was always so busy thinking of you, I never noticed," I said, she smiled at me, which made me blush.

"So what movie are we seeing," she asked.

"You know what," I said as I turned the car around," we aren't going to see a movie."

"What are we going to do," she asked.

"I'm going to take you to a special place of mine."

-Sky's POV-

I was so happy we were finally going on a date and now he is going to show me something that he has never talked about to any of us, at least are group of friends. This was like a literal dream, it was so much so I pinched myself to check, and to my happiness I didn't wake up. I was so happy I thought I might scream, but that be weird so I didn't.

Then, we hit a gravel road,"Where are we going," I asked again

He just looked at me smiling,"you'll find out."

It was so mysterious, but I liked it, it was like an adventure. We started going up a very high hill, and he said,"we are almost there, my mom used to take me here when I was a kid."

I just said,"Oh, you shouldn't take me somewhere that's important to your past and family."

"Yes, I should, because all the things you named are just like you, they are important to me," Jacob said.

I blushed. We got to the top of a very high hill and there was a clearing. He breathed in a couple of times like he was preparing for something, then he exited the car and walked around to open my door. He grabbed my hand and brought me to the very top of the hill in the middle of the clearing and laid down a towel he found in the back of his car. He sat down on it and asked me to come over and sit by him.

Once I sat down he said,"Look up," I did and I noticed you could see tons of stars, and right in front of me was the whole town.

I said,"it's beautiful."

"I hoped you would say that," he said.

He looked at me with a very serious expression,"You know, I've always had a crush on you, we were friends, which was great and all, but I just wanted to be able to look at you as more than a friend you know."

"I know exactly what you mean, I never would accept anybody else who asked me out, in hope that someday you would," I said.

We both looked directly in the eyes, and kissed.

I had never felt so much happiness in my entire life, it was finally happening we were finally going to be together.

-???????????'s POV-

I had never been any where else but home my entire life, leaving was going to be terrifying. I had to though, my parents finally did it, they completely left me, I thought they would never actually do it, I always tried so hard to be the best son ever. They just weren't cut out to be parents is what they would say, so I was moving with my aunt. She said I would love it there, but I always lived in the big city, and sure she lived in a kind of big town, but it was still way different then all the skyscrapers here and the giant amount of traffic. I didn't know how I would last. I didn't know if it was worth it to try and be a good, smart person anymore, but I had to, because my greatest fear was being like my parents, never really growing up.

My aunt Nina greeted me with a warm hug, she said I would start school immediately. I didn't really like the sound of that, but she said that the people and kids are allot nicer here, so, at least I had that to look forward to I guess. It was really late so I went to bed right away even though I didn't have school tomorrow or anything.

All was normal until I fell asleep, I was in a park and I saw a girl, she was the most beautiful person I had ever seen her eyes were silver with brown hair.

She asked,"Who are you and how did you get here."

I just looked at her,"Don't ask me I'm as confused as you are on the fact my mind created a person as detailed as you to dream about."

"Your mind didn't create me I'm a real person I'm just in a dream stasis thing," she said.

I was insanely confused,"how do you have a dream stasis, that's not normal," I said.

"I know, it's new to me too, I'm just getting used to it, but now I'm even more confused since you're here," she said.

"So , wait, did you bring me here somehow," I said.

"Maybe, we must be linked somehow, but I've never seen you before, so that wouldn't make any sense, unless we meet in the future, or maybe you're not real at all," she said.

"Hey, I'm real," I said.

"But, there is know way of me knowing if you are imaginary or not, just time will tell, but if you are what's your name," she asked.

"Jordan"
