the week passed quickly and today I will finally see the person that reki wanted me to meet
honestly I'm not really excited about this. the reason I never had friends of my age is because I've always been more mature than them, probably because I had to grow up fast.
plus, this person has superiority complex which I don't tolerate at all. I hate people that thinks they're better than anyone, especially when it's clearly not true.
I hear the bell ring and see everyone putting all their stuff in their backpacks. I always wait that everyone leaves first because yk, chaos.

after leaving my school stuff at my house and changing my clothes, I run to the skate park to meet reki and my, probably not☺️, future friend
I'm currently at the skatepark checking if reki's here
while I'm looking around without watching where I'm going i bump into someone, again.
«watch where you're goin- oh [yn]»
it was reki
«oh, hey»
«hey, btw be more careful» he says
«yeah yeah, now where's the guy?» I question him
«him and langa will be here in any minute»
after he mentioned langa a smile formed in my face (it's not a crush, it's daddy issues)
after a few minutes we can spot langa and a shorter boy skating in our direction
the short dude was wearing shorts and a green hoodie slightly bigger than his size, and...a tail and cat ears? this whole outfit is giving gay furry

«hey [yn]»langa greets me
«ok so this is gonna be your new friend. miya this is [yn], yn this is-»
«[YN]?» miya interrupted langa
«YOURE THE GUY LANGA WANTED ME TO MEET?»

«OBVIOUSLY, STUPID» i answer
«well i don't want to be your friend, and I already have to see your ugly ass face in class» he crossed his arms
I gasp at the insult, putting my hand on my chest dramatically
«well me neither. I already knew that it was a bad idea» I say before walking away
but before I could get any further someone grabbed me by my shoulder, completely turning my body
«[yn], miya. you really need friends your age, and you two would actually get along if you try» langa exclaims
me and miya look at each other. he doesn't seem very convinced
«you even have many things in common» reki adds
«like what?» miya aks
«..video games?»
«no, I don't really like playing video games»
«SEE?» miya yells
«you could start being friends and then see if y'all have things in common»langa stated
«you don't always have similar interests to be friends»
mmh maybe I should give it a try
«alright, I'ma try to stand his smartass and see if this works»
«great. what about you miya?»reki asks
«mh, idk..ok»he says unsure
«ALRIGHT THEN. langa let's go. BYE GAYS»
«wait i thoug-»
before I could finish my sentence langa and reki are already gone
«so, wanna go somewhere?» I ask miya
«are you really trying to befriend me?»
«you don't answer a question with another question. and yes, I'm really trying»
