Ivan shifted uncomfortably in his desk under the eyes that watched him. It had all started out so well a few weeks ago when she first came with her wild eyes and joyful smile. Out of all the people she could have come to first, she had come to him first, pulled him out of his quiet smiling corner, grinning at the misfortune of others. Sure he knew he lacked a heart in his chest but this was different, with her it was different. Everyone before that had just tried "take care of him" or to "help him" by making him out to be misunderstood but she was different. When she came along, she had just sat down next to him and decided that he was her new project and that she loved making him blush. What followed couldn't exactly be described, but a change came over his life as every day instead of sitting alone she had sat next to him with her loud giggle attracting attention as she went. There was always something to do with her, something to talk about, there was no more calm moments in his schedule. It wasn't bad, in fact he enjoyed the company of the loud girl. He couldn't deny that she flirted with him, she enjoyed making him blush with every word he said. And he had just fallen under her spell and now it was too late. Ivan really didn't know what he was going to do now, what he should do now. He had wanted to ask her out on a date that day, now where did he stand? Where did she stand on this? And why on earth was he still thinking about her in that way when he had seen her do what she did? The bell of the classroom startled Ivan out of his thoughts and he was only slightly aware as the next class went by, this one without the blonde that was the center of his mind then. He was barely awake when the teacher called on him, only stuttering some response which he was half-sure was wrong. It was as if he was still dreaming, gosh, he wished he was still dreaming, that all that had happened yesterday was just a pleasant dream that would turn out to be false, something that his dark imagination had come up with to scare him away.
