Draco and I had been friends for years, basically since we were born, and I had begun to catch feelings, I didn't know what to do about them, so I told my best friends, the golden trio everyone had called them. I wasn't friends with them at first because they always called Slytherins evil, but I warmed up to them, especially Hermione. When I had told them they said to me that Draco liked me back, I didn't believe them of course I mean who could ever like someone like me?

In the end they had talked me into telling Draco how I felt, I mean what's there to lose... years of friendship, oh god what have I put myself into. Little did I know he felt the same, I mean if I did know it would have saved a lot of stress XD. I was planning on just telling him and get it over with, nothing too big and grand, like in the middle of lesion just turning to him and telling him but when I got the chance in class, I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

After my last class of the day, I turned to where Draco was sat to tell him my feelings, but he had already disappeared. I walk out the class with my head down and then suddenly, I bumped into someone, damn it I knew I should have been looking where I was going, I swiftly look up and see Draco stood in front of me I get lost in his eyes for a moment that blurt out "omg Draco I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going" he stops me by lifting my chin with his fingers making my heart skip a beat, "meet me in the yard by the water fountain tomorrow lunchtime" he spoke softly I just nodded wondering why he wanted to meet me even though we would see each other most of the day.

The next day lunch comes around quickly, this could be my chance to tell him how I feel! I couldn't hide it anymore because every time I look at him and talk to him, I just want to kiss his pretty face. I make my way out to the yard and to the fountain, I see Draco sat there with what looks like a little picnic, it looked so romantic. OMG how could I be so stupid he was going on a date, and he wanted me to see how well he set things up or something, of course it wasn't for me. I approached him trying to not look too sad.

"Hey, who's the lucky person to be getting this side of you" I say trying to have a joke. He looked up at me clearly noticing my sad eyes and pats the empty spot on the floor. I sit down giving him a confused face, he turns to me and softly says "you, it's always been you. I like you, a lot" I looked at him giving the biggest smile I could jumping into his arms and never letting go. "I take that as you feel the same?" he says through my hug "of course I feel the same, that what I've been wanting to tell you for a while but I just couldn't pluck up the courage to do so" I said pulling out the hug and a little laugh at the end. He grabs my face and plants a kiss on my lips of course I kiss back. We casually have a passionate kiss in the middle of the yard, but everyone was at lunch no one will see us. We pull away and I could feel my face heat up as Draco looked at me "so, y/n will you be my girlfriend"

"YESSSS!!!!!!" and then I hear a little laugh from behind and to my surprise, Harry, Hermione and Ron were there watching. "Well then, what do we have here" Hermione says I look at her will goofy eyes and I reply "Hogwarts new finest couple" we all chuckle. Draco tidies up the picnic and puts it in my bag (I had the extension charm on it so anything would fit in there) and we all head to the great hall to see what was going on for lunch. Draco and I were hand in hand and as we walked in people stared and whispered but I didn't care, I was happy. We sat down with Pansy, Blaise, Crabbe and Goyle and we all talked about how Draco has asked me to be his girlfriend.
