The White Wolf [Mpreg] (MxM)

Chapter Eight

Emperor Phoenix was looking at them from a throne encrusted with gold.

He watch as the two were interacting with themselves. He let cough slightly and their attention was onto him

"I'd like to hear what was your opinion on having the Kingdom of Gladiolus help your pack.

Andrei who was still bowing then said "I must humbly decline Your Highness, as we are but a small pack. We are already have help from another kingdom"

This made him raise his brows.

"Oh? And which kingdom would that be if I may ask" Emperor Phoenix questions

"The kingdom of Chameli, Your Highness" Andrei said and that made the Emperor grew more intrigued.

He heard of that kingdom but rumours has it that it was destroyed and the reigning Queen fled and nowhere to be found. As of now it is cease to exist.

"Chameli you say?" He rubbed his chin "But doesn't Chameli ceased to exist?"

Andrei then explained

"Yes, Your Highness. But we also have alliances from different packs"

Estelle watched the Emperor who was being whispered about something by his Royal Advisor

No one knew he has sharp ears and he could hear every word from them both

"Sire, the troops are ready on your order"

Then Emperor Phoenix simply wave his hands and the Royal Advisor left. He looked at Estelle with deep blue eyes.

"I will rest now. Take me to somewhere I can rest"

"Yes. Right away Your Majesty" as they escorted him to the pack house where a room was ready for him.

His guards followed them until the entrance. He went in the room and closes the door.

"Andrei" Estelle called Andrei and they left to go to his office.

"What's next?" Estelle asks. Someone knocked on the door and Daniel came in. Behind him are the 9 Guardians and Benjamin.

"We watch what he will do first" Andrei said

"I heard him whispering to his advisor to do something earlier. We need to keep our guards up" Estelle said

"I followed his advisor. I saw him talking to someone outside the territory"

"What do we then?"

"Be patient. If they started it, we will end it" Andrei answered.

The day gone by fast and night approaches. There was a huge feast and everyone was enjoying the feast. The Emperor and his advisors attended the feast were acting rather nonchalant.

There were many eyes watching his and his people's every move.

Then by midnight when the moon appeared a howl was heard from afar and that's when chaos erupts.

The pack members were attacked and killed without mercy. They try to fight as much as they can but it seem as thought the troops the Emperor brought out were indestructible.

"Andrei" Estelle rushed towards him as a bulky man was about to attack him from behind. 

He killed the man in an instant without any remorse. They looked at each other and knew they have to stick to the plan.

Together the two teamed up to kill who came close to them. But they didn't expect to see Emperor Phoenix walking towards them with a killing intent.

With a sword in hand, he started to strike the both of them.

"Your Highness" Estelle called him and the Emperor grab his waist and try to kiss his neck but was punched by Andrei. He falls to the ground, the side of his mouth slightly  bleeding.

"This is for touching what's mine!"  Andrei yelled out. The man wiped his mouth and got up.

"My, my playing rough. But he isn't your property anymore. He is mine" just in an instance Estelle was poisoned and Andrei was grabbed and injected with Wolfsbane. 

Estelle felt weak. His eyes became blurry as he try to fight the Emperor  who let him go as he crawled towards Andrei

"Andrei...."

"Estelle"

And the both of them collapse side by side.

The Guardians saw them and was in pure shock. Daniel charged towards the Emperor finally defeated him. The war was over. The remaining troops that were with the Emperor were killed and burned.

Kenneth carried Estelle while Christopher carried Andrei to the hospital.

A portal appeared as soon as they entered the hospital and as soon as she saw her brother and started to cry.

Daniel walk up to her offering to comfort her.

"Es.."she was sobbing.

The doctors try as they could to get the poison out from Estelle. While another group of doctors were struggling to heal Andrei from the Wolfsbane.

They waited outside the operating theater for hours until a doctor appeared and informed them of bad news.

"Alpha's condition isn't doing well. He is still weak from the last time he was injected with Wolfsbane and it is affecting his artery especially his heart. As of now there nothing we could do. It is too severe now"

Adrian started bawling her eyes out

"Luna's condition has gotten worst. He had a seizures multiple times as we try to cure his poison but it affected his lungs and brain as well as some major arteries. I apologise as Luna condition cannot be cure. My apologies" and that's when Adriana collapse on the floor, as she fainted.

Daniel panicked as he held onto his wife, devastated. The Guardians now were saddened with the news.

The pack became solemn. Everyone were praying for a miracle for their Alpha and Luna.

Adriana woke up and started to cry until she exhaust herself and fell asleep. But she recovered and brought the pups to the hospital.

The pups were brought to visit their parents and the adults were waiting outside.

"What do we tell them? Their parents won't make it?" Adriana asks

"We have to tell them slowly. We can take care of them" Daniel answered.

"It will break their hearts" Adriana said.

Alana was present and she like Adriana couldn't take the  news well. She cried and fainted from shock. Luckily Benjamin was by her side.

Then they heard steady beats from the heart monitor.

They opened the door and saw Estelle woke up and smiling at the pups, hugging them. Andrei woke up soon after and they were attacked by the pups.

Doctors checked on both of them and couldn't believe it.

"This is astounding. In all my years I never thought I'd see a miracle" the doctor said.

Adriana and Alana and the rest were relieved. It truly was a miracle.

Andrei and Estelle stayed in the hospital for a day until the doctor gave their approval to discharge them.

They went back to the Pack House with the pups

"Welcome home Alpha and Luna" everyone greeted them. They smiled, happy and grateful they are still alive. They were given another opportunity to live.
