DAENYA LOVED DRAGONS, ESPECIALLY HER OWN — ytserth. she always grew up fascinated by them, especially since she grew up with them, as her family is royal and she gets the privilege of being a dragon princess, but she's not complaining. it's one of the best traits of being the princess of she's being honest, as much as she hates being one atleast she gets a dragon out of it.
daenya was taught about dragons by her older sister, her half sister whom she shares a father with — the king viseyres. she loved rhaenyra, though it seemed like her mother did not. rhaenyra taught daenya alot of things, things her mother did not teach her , such as — riding a dragon/commanding one, how to use a sword, how to have confidence, how to fight for yourself. any basic survival rules, thing alicent has said she shall not need to know because she is a princess. daenya knows a lot because of rhaenyra, and she's very thankful to have an older sister who knows a lot about dragons.
daenya, alongside her brothers walked towards their nephews, jacaerys and lucerys velaryon. Daenya looked towards jace, a small smile on her lips as she looked at him with admiration, she's always thought jace was cute — even though they are family, not so much as fully related but they do share the same blood. she didn't care, no one did really— unless it's the people who are against the targaryen/velaryons. the targaryens like to keep it in the blood, makes the new incomers more pure with targaryen blood.
daenya walked slowly towards the two brothers while her own two, aegon and aemond, were whispering silently when she felt aemond grab daenyas hand slowly and carefully after there was a second of silence coming from them. she turned her head to look at him to see him already looking at her with a small smile and a mixture of sadness and fear in his eyes.
daenyas smiled back towards him, she loved her younger brother. i mean, there is no reason for her not to, he was always there for her, he always made her happy and he wasn't such an entitled asshole to everyone he's in the presence of. daenya turned her head back towards jace, whom was already looking at her with the same smile and look in his eyes, daenya lifted her hand a slightly waved towards him before dropping her dead, and looking down towards the dirt floor below her feet — a soft pink blush covered her cheeks, as she tried to hide it
" come " the dragon keeper commanded to the children, motioning his arm towards him as he spoke in valyrian, he stood in the middle of the huge room with the other dragon keepers behind him with their arms behind their back or holding their stick upwards
the children all gave each other a look before making their way towards the dragon keepers with a smile on their face — excluding aemond who has yet to find a dragon to claim, and even though he has no dragon he still has to come to training. the poor boy gets teased everyday when he's around dragons, it's like the world is bullying him, and he hates it. the one thing he wants more than anything in this world is a dragon, a huge dragon that can scare people, one where people take a single glance at it and they'll leave him alone
