Chapter One

Chelsea's Perspective

Reluctantly, I being myself to wake up and change for school, having carefully selected a pink tank top with some light blue denim shorts the night before.

I then begin to comb through my hair, which is currently brown with blonde dip dyes before grabbing all my school material from my desk.

As I pack my small bag its not long before I hear my fathers first shout bellow throughout the house.

"GET DOWN HERE YOU PATHETIC EXUSE FOR A CHILD!" His words send me scrambling downstairs without hesitation and then watch my father pull out something wooden and round.

Despite being used to his behaviour, every-time he pulls out that object makes my heart race as if i've just seen it for the first time again. A gulp which only I could hear tried to swallow down my fear as my eyes started to pleaded with mercy.

Kill me now.

He smiles grimly as his feet chime in a deathly rhythm towards my own body and in the space of a second the baseball bat is colliding with my face and sends liquid trickling down my face.

Blood.

The harsh hit makes every movement more difficult but I still manage to run upstairs, grab my bag and leg it out of the house with only one destination in mind.

I come to an abrupt stop by my friend's house and harshly knock on the door afraid of someone spotting my face blotched with purple, red and black.

After a few more loud knocks the door finally opens, revealing a sight which sends my heart falling onto the concrete and shattering.

I am rewriting the chapters just to keep me sane because of the amount of grammar mistakes and poorly written parts.

Im not going to add anything but make things link more since my views for some reason the views increasing but I warned you all in December that this is a very poorly written book.
