Tadase's POV
I positioned myself with the sword and glanced at Jordan.He looked confident as I held the sword in front of me.A whistle blew out of nowhere and he charged towards me.
Amu's POV
I watched with everyone else on the benches.I glanced at Tadase and he seemed like he really wanted to win.That made me feel sad,inside but I tried not to show it.Did he really want to win for Manaka?As everyone was watching and focused on the challenge,I walked out of the room quietly without them noticing."Where are you going?"Miki asked.I shrugged looking at my feet as it moved around the big mansion.I found a small dark room with no door,but a curtain and went inside.I sat down not caring what was around it and sighed,burying my head in my knees.This is too confusing.Too confusing.I couldn't take it.Did I just imagine Tadase confessing to me?Or did he just,didn't mean it that way?"Amu-chan.."Ran said looking around the room."What?"I felt a flashlight next to me and turned it on."AHHH!!!"I screamed dropping the flash light.My charas also screamed then stopped."Its just a picture.."I sighed.The old man with a brown eye and a red eye stared at me from the painting.His eyeballs were parted,the right eyeball looking to the right,and the left to the left.Too creepy."Amu-chan!!"I heard Manaka call.I closed my eyes and stopped moving,not wanting them to find me for some reason.It was just going to be too awkward.A small light came into the room and I bit my lip."Dang it.."I gritted my teeth as the curtains flew aside,brightening the room."Amu-chan?"Tadase glanced at me."We were looking for you."
"Sorry.I just didn't feel good.."I mutter."You screamed before,what happened?"he asked.I glanced at the portrait and shivered."It was..nothing."I said.

"Are you sure?"
"Y-Yea,no big deal.."I stood up and walked out with him following behind me."Where did you go?"Manaka asked."Nowhere."I stared at the floor,not looking at anyone."I-I have to head home.."I said and started walking."Do you know where the exit is?!"Manaka asked from a distance.I stopped and gritted my teeth again."I'll find it."and with that,I began running.I ran down the stairs of her big gigantic house and burst through a door and stopped."This is a kitchen."I said and closed the door.I started running again and opened another door."Bathroom."
Finally,I happened to find my way out into the backyard and went around.I paused at the gate to catch my breath and heard voices coming from inside.It was getting closer so I started to walk away quickly.I didn't want to see them.I'm not comfortable with them anymore.I'm not comfortable with Manaka and Tadase.

The next day,I faked sick and didn't go to school.And I was pretty good at faking sick so my mother actually believed me and let me stay at home.Right now,Manaka's probably bragging to everyone about how Tadase "fought" for her and all that stuff.

"What is wrong!??"Ran asked annoyed.I rolled my eyes and threw my blanket over.Ignoring her,I checked if my parents were home and went downstairs.I was fully dressed and I slipped on my shoes and headed out."Where are we going?!!"Miki asked."Just for a walk.."I said annoyed.I walked to somewhere I don't know about and found myself near school.I frowned and hid behind a tree.The Guardians were walking together and nothing seemed to be going on.Everyone looked happy.I looked at Manaka and she looked a bit down.When Yaya looked at her,she was happy again.I can tell what she was trying to do.Hiding her sad feelings.Probably.But why?"Yo."
