--------------------------------------------------------------

Since we left, since we've gotten here, since it became somewhat clearer that we have a plan, I'm getting further and further away from the people I care about. So many of us are, and Ethan seems to not care. He isn't asking us what we want, he doesn't want our opinions. We try to work with him but he's so dead set on this damn gas station that I don't even think he hears us. He thinks what he's doing is right. Starting a new community, he thinks that's what we want. What we really want, is just to find our families. I want to find my daughter.

I really hope that Ethan isn't forgetting about the others. Or worse, he thinks they're dead. At first I thought this place was a temporary solution, but the longer we stay here it's looking more permanent. He really couldn't have picked a more terrible place to set up shop. It's basically in the middle of nowhere. Which is good in some ways, helps keep the dead away, they're easier to manage, but then again, the others will never find us at this rate. Maybe that's Ethan Warren's master plan.

I don't think he could be that cruel though. Even after every fight he got in with Leah, every person he wronged over the years, he still knows those people are our family. He can't just run away from that.

"Steve, how did you get here?"

"I went off on my own, thought it'd be good to get away from the group for a few days. I didn't make it too far on my own."

"Group? What group?"

"Ethan, and your father, and Juna. A few others as well. We all escaped the community together. Your father's more worried about you than anything."

"He can't come here. He can't come looking for me. You didn't tell him to come, did you?"

"The walkies were lost in the attack, but we can't get out of this on our own, Airianna. Angie's dying."

"They won't let you leave."
