"Thank you so much for the liter of blood, Cassandra!" You hung up the phone and chuckled, looking around the dimly lit room.

It was the night; the night you've been waiting for all year long.

Finally, you got to execute your plan tonight. Something you've been anticipating the first second you woke up this morning.

You had difficulty looking Bela into her eyes whenever she talked to you- barely able to contain the grin that had tried to make its way onto your face.

But you didn't betray yourself, and now it was time.

Time for the best prank ever.

Weeks before, you had asked Cassandra for a bag of blood- one with the same blood-type as you so it wasn't all too suspicious to your girlfriend.

You had asked Bela to run to the store real quick to buy some groceries you forgot to get, and being the gentlewoman she was- she didn't bother to pull on her shoes and walk to the store.

The sun had gone down long ago already, giving the room a more chilling vibe to it. All the lights in the house were turned off except from the tv and the one in the kitchen, where you'd play out your scene.

With a knife did you cut the bag of blood open and squirt it all over your stomach and clothes before doing the same to the floor- making it look like a crime scene.

You smirked to yourself as you laid yourself down in the puddle of blood, dropping the bloody knife beside you. And you were just on time.

Fondling keys opened the door the second you laid down, "Baby, I got the groceries!"

The door closed and you heard footsteps come closer to there where you laid, awaiting the reaction from Bela once she saw you lying on the floor.

It didn't take long before you heard a bag drop to the floor and your name being called.

"Y/N! Babe, are you okay?!" Without expecting it, you were pulled into her arms as she held your face and felt if your skin was cold.

Hands fondled with the blouse you were wearing, trying to open the buttons of it but giving up soon when it took too long- the buttons being ripped off as Bela tore the piece of fabric right off your body.

"What happened to you!?" She asked but didn't get a response at all, worrying her even more.

It was when her hand started to feel around for a wound, that you made a small laugh- getting the attention from her because of your strange response.

Your eyes squinted open just the slightest bit to see what was going on, but it was enough for Bela to drop you to the ground and understand what was going on.

"Are you serious, Y/N?!" She sighed and got up, looking at the blood that covered her own clothes.

The laughter coming from you could easily be heard by people walking outside, because the reaction of Bela was priceless. Of course, it was kind of wrong to be pulling these kind of pranks, but it was the 31st of October- Halloween!

"Got you!" You shouted out with delight as you sat up, "Oh God, you should've seen your face!"

With you too busy in your laughing fit, Bela grabbed the fallen groceries and put them where they belonged- not paying much attention to you.

But you knew she liked it, despite nearly being scared to death.

"I'll get you next year." She came to you when she was done and gripped you tightly within her arms, smearing the blood that she had on her hands onto your face.

You called out for her to stop, but when she pulled away- the damage had already been done.

It kind of grossed you out, but you were already used to the sight and feel of blood because of being Bela Dimitrescu's girlfriend.

She sucked the blood right off her finger and you cringed at her, shaking your head as you pushed her away from you.

"That's gross!" You said before running off to the bathroom where you'd get cleaned from the red substance on you.

"You're gross for pulling such a nasty prank on your sweet, loving and kind girlfriend!" You heard Bela's voice approach before the door was pulled open and she entered, smirking at you.

"Have fun washing all that blood out of your white clothes, darling." She whispered before giving you a kiss and walking out to clean up your mess.

There was no lie in when she said she'd get you next year, because she would.

And it would be the most frightening moment of your whole life yet.
