I've forced Matt to sit outside my bedroom whilst I change into my bridesmaid dress, do my hair and apply my make up. Everyone else has already made their way to the church, but I've still got a couple of hours before I have to spend the rest of the day with my entire family. "You look beautiful," Matt breathes as I walk out of my bedroom. Of course, it's beautiful, Annie will only have the best. I glance down at the dress, it's a very simple dark blue. Surprisingly boring for Annie, but I'm not complaining. "Jordyn, you alright there?"

I blink and give him a nod in response. "Yeah, just thinking it's a nice dress. I'd have this sort of dress for my bridesmaids if I ever get married." I blush at the mention of my wedding to Matt, it's something I've planned many times, but this is the first time in my life where I've actually seen a wedding as a possibility in my life. "You dress up nicely yourself,"

Matt must notice the sudden colour change because he ignores the comment, "shall we get going? I'd hate to be late to this wedding. I'm absolutely terrified of Annie already."

"Annabelle gets more scary the longer you know her," I sigh. "If I'm not there to walk down the aisle with her they will all kill me. Let's get out of here."

"The fact you did all this yourself, and yet normally you look like a sleep deprived rat." He chuckles, as we climb into his car

"You are the rudest person I've ever met." I gasp. "Are you into mutated raccoon rats then?"

"Oh can't get enough," he smirks. "I just find them so attractive."

"You better be joking, because I actually try to look good most of the time."

"And I think you look good all of the time." As we drive, one of his hands leaves the steering wheel and rests on my leg. "Even when you don't try."

"You're meant to bully me Matthew, not be nice. That's not how our dynamic works," I scowl. "But thank you. I just wont try in future."

"Oh no, I didn't say don't try."

"Asshole."

"What do you want from me!?"

"I want you to pay attention to the road."

"I am paying attention to the road." He groans as I take control of the music, putting on my playlist.

"I know, I just wanted to put some better music on."

"Your music is actual shit though."

"If you say so Matthew." I actually love Matt's music, in fact all the boys have good taste, and it's very similar to my normal playlist, but I fancied something different for today. Or maybe I fancied annoying Matt, he will never know.

Eventually, we drive into the church's car park, and I feel my stomach sink. Matt jumps out of the car incredibly quickly, but I just stare out the window, frozen in my seat. Matt opens my door, but no matter how much I will myself to get out, my legs won't move.

"We don't have to go in," Matthew says with a small smile, taking hold of my hand. "I can turn this truck right around."

"No," I croak. "I need to go."

"You've got time before we need to be in there." He's crouched down next to me. "It's only a couple of hours and I'll be right next to you the whole time."

"I still don't know how to dance." I choak out a laugh.

He just grins in response. "You think I don't know that? I've seen you dance Jordyn Winters, and it is not pretty. But I love your atrocious dance moves and can't wait to match them." He puts out his hand again, and with a deep breath, I take it and step onto the church grounds, making our way through the church doors.

"Be prepared for everyone asking you when you're gonna propose to me." I whisper as we walk into the crowd of my family.

"Oh Jordyn, lovely to see you again." A small lady with short grey curls approaches, greeting me with a hug and a kiss on the cheek. She turns to Matt, staring at him for a second, before greeting him the same way. "Who's your date, darling?"

"Matthew, he's one of the triplets on my street. Think I've mentioned them before. My best friends." I smile at Matt, "this is more recent."

"Well, I'm glad you found someone. And he seems so lovely. Good job you waited to find a good one." My great aunt Moira is the only relatively normal one in my family, whilst her late girlfriend was her first, she had never got married. "Don't listen to your mother, I know as soon as this is over, she'll be convincing you to get married ASAP but go when you're ready."

"She seems lovely," Matt whispers once my aunt had moved onto the next cousin.

"She really is," I smile. "We don't see her much. After aunt Kathy died she's not got out much."

"Her wife?"

"Girlfriend," I sigh. "Of like sixty years."

"Gonna stick with me that long or am I only for the wedding?"

I smirk. "Guess you'll have to wait and see." With this I lean up and peck him on the cheek. "We're in for a long night."
